OK.. back on my desktop I opened Tupperware Thailand FB page. SK Intergroup 2005 Co. Ltd is the authorized distributor in Thailand. The website seems to be down. There is no response when I PING the tupperware.in.th address. That means there is no computer responding to that address. I also couldn't find the domain name registration. I sent a message (in English) to the operator of that FB page and got an answer in Thai that doesn't quite make sense when translated to English by Google. At least there seems to be a live person responding to messages. Translated from Thai: Tupperware (Tupperware) for Thailand Under supervision and management by SK Intergroup 2005 Co., Ltd. and SK Corp Limited Partnership is the sole licensee to import and distribute within Thailand. Tupperware Operating Business Model Tupperware now has a wide variety of distribution channels to meet consumer needs. and working lifestyle of each personality to make it more convenient to work open to direct selling business and opened a comprehensive dealer and service center

They aren't the responsible parties. A lot of them are also victims of Putinism. -
I've seen fried pork skin for sale at Nong Hoi market and made fresh at 89 Plaza open market on Mon. + Wed. 4PM-??. It's not hard to find.

While on my scooter, I assume the cars have the right of way here ????

Those cars with the GREEN light should. I believe the deference to those cars is written into the corresponding traffic rules in the US/Can and a better than average chance it is here as well.

It seems the default is for the banks to withhold tax on all interest bearing accounts opened by non-Thai persons. There are two avenues open to stop or limit the withholding of taxes from your interest payments. If you get a yellow tabien baan book you can then get a pink ID card that is issued to foreigners. You can skip the yellow book/ID card and just go to a Revenue Department office with the required documents and get a Thai tax ID. With either the pink ID card or the tax ID you can then go to your banks and ask them to stop withholding tax from the interest earned. I have heard that once you have earned 20K ฿ in interest they will resume withholding the 15% for taxes. I believe that the banks will still withhold 15% from ALL interest on fixed deposit accounts. To get a refund of any of the money withheld you will have to file a Thai tax return. I'm not sure how many years you can go back to claim a refund of taxes withheld. If interest is your only taxable income earned in Thailand, you will most likely get all the tax withheld refunded because in addition to the 20K ฿ exemption there are other deductions that will further reduce your taxable income.

I have used free online fax services to send forms to SSA. I later called and confirmed that SSA did receive them.

Elon Musk says Twitter will offer 'amnesty' to suspended accounts

I'll take those welcoming gestures with a kilo of salt. Other billionaires are happy to seem to be buddy, buddy with Musk hoping for future advantages from such a posture. -
Where can I look at colors for my interior walls?

I prefer saving that hospital like experience for those times that I actually need to be in one. -

Where can I look at colors for my interior walls?
gamb00ler replied to OneMoreFarang's topic in DIY Forum
I have often bought a quart of a color I find attractive and paint as big an area as I can with at least two coats depending on the color that I'm covering. Our perception of color is heavily influenced by it's context. You may want to start at one of these sites: https://www.easyrgb.com/en/create.php#inputFORM https://www.toagroup.com/th/palettes/color-wheel https://www.colorspire.com/rgb-color-wheel/ We went for some warm but somewhat bold colors in a previous home. -

Wise USD Account. Two Questions
gamb00ler replied to Onerak's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I occasionally need to exchange funds with family, businesses and friends in a couple of countries where I otherwise don't have a banking presence. My Wise account works simply and efficiently for that purpose. Those interactions would be much more difficult with a typical financial institution in the US and probably a nightmare with a Thai bank. -

LOL ... that one zoomed way over your head! It seems very likely that he's not worried about the 65 cents... it was probably intended as just a test of the process. NOTE: he didn't transfer any money to Thailand which he would have done if that was his purpose. -

gamb00ler replied to Onerak's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
@Onerak If you have funds in your WISE account you can see the fees for sending up to your current balance. Login into Wise, click on "Send Money", on the next page you should see two options. Select the > symbol under the "Your Wise balance". The next page will show you the fees for sending to THB. If you try to send more than your current balance you will see that Wise will charge you additional fees for the transfer. The cheapest way to send money is by using the funds currently held in your Wise account. All other funding methods have added fees. -
Supreme Court clears way for House to get Trump’s taxes

yes... until they lay charges. The charging documents become accessible to the public, but not the tax filing(s) involved.
