My daughter carries a 3" facial scar from the age of 4 when she tried to pet a family Thai Ridgeback & it bit her straight onto her face..... Fortunately, the scars follow her lip lines & are now almost not noticeable....I don't trust them.....They snap a unexpected times....Always wired.... They've had many over the years & all turned mean.... I much prefer the temperament of the Thai Bangkaew.....

Thaiger doesn't exactly set a high standard....Each change they've made over the past 2 years has been a steady downgrade....The demographics of each site seem to oppose each other..... This has fail marked all over imo....

If they are brought into societal training young....

I could probably knit a sweater for this guy from what my Bangkaew has shed recently..... I saw and petted a Siberian Husky a guy was walking today.... From the look & feel of his fur it's possible it has never seen a comb or brush ... A gorgeous dog....

So, what do you get from the DIY store?......

Yeah but those walk in windows really slow down the drive throughs....Fair is fair as scooters can't drive through.... Sometimes agencies will funnel 4-5 or more people to the walk in line....I got stuck behind a pushy agent & 6 or 7 people she guided to the window then jambed their paperwork through one by one..... A couple of them had something incomplete & then corrected and resubmitted as I tried to remain calm.....

Back before moving here they supposedly allowed cars to be imported....I loved my Lexus SC400 & briefly pondered bringing it over....At that time the road conditions + lack of parts and qualified techs dowsed that thought..... And that's a fun, solid, well equipped vehicle.... I'm not sure the carbon fiber new generation super cars would have any kind of long life expectancy here....

I did manage to have a refreshing double rum & coke after walking the dog a couple of miles in the heat of the day..... Imbibing before that walk didn't seem like a good plan....

I found the same years ago before I found, & settled in Thailand..... If you want to see a few foreigners (with an "oh-sh*t how did this happen") look, go to the next Catholic church christening ceremony where they literally crank christenings out by the 100's.....

Having had many Filipino visitors in TH; the most concise statement one made regarding this was..... The Philippines could be like Thailand in 20 years with foresight, planning, & the will to complete what they start....She believed that the people just didn't have drive to complete projects.... The PI is full of projects left only partially completed and abandoned....

I've had issues, with them on 2 different vehicles (2 tries).... When the front axles dropped out of my wife's Civic after CV joint servicing in under 500 kilometers I went with the receipt to the desk & was told it was over 60 days & not covered.... Luckily she was driving slowly on a straight road when the axles popped..... I have much stronger feelings but won't express them on a public forum... They're quick on upsells with dab a lube trays, etc. They remind me of the Goodyear/Firestone shops in the US.....

Good move - too many gullible kids & predators.... I just had to curtail hours for our mid teenager......She was getting pulled into late PM to overnight activities/groups being the norm.....

They are considered to be more photogenic in front of the camera..... More symmetrical..... But yeah, a lot, if not most - smallish....

Chiang Mai storage/removals will pick you up - get you to the airport & pick you up upon returning....I think it's about 2k per month.....They will keep your car garaged & maintain the battery & tires.....

Most veterinary hospitals offer some boarding.....Hang Dong Animal Hospital is was came to mind based on the size of it's facility..... While I was looking it up a pet hotel popped up at the top of the map & that might be a better option..... Hope this helps - we have 11 + a dog so our daughters tend to them at our house....

I got a "world travel card" (black) - I think it's called from SCB.... It's linked to my regular account & allows you to import from your Thai account....Then, if needed you can use that balance to buy/convert to a foreign currency if needed..... I used it on our US trip & it performed perfectly.....>If used there at gas pumps I'd have to go to the cashier first - not pay at the pump<....It should suit your needs.... I didn't try it for online purchases, if that's your want.... I was told that my BBK bank card was cleared for international use, but it was hit & miss so I used the SCB card exclusively.... You use a pin number sometimes (which you assign), other times it goes right through....
