Accountant is correct. Better to have a lawyer do it (unless the accountant guarantees she/he has the means) as the there are rules that must be followed. There must be adverts in the newspaper informing that the Company will close and if any person has claims on the Company whatsoever, they can lodge them. The process can take 2-3 months. Of course a full accounting (including taxes) must be filed.

Well I have a completely opposite story. With our properties we have over 50 aircons, 80% being Daikin. And other than a shorted electronic board in one unit (lizard) which was still under warranty I have never any problems with Daikin (as opposed to some of the LG and Samsung I had previously). Daikin inverter units are excellent. On our apartment complex I now replace with 'hi-sense', mostly because of the cost (and some of the other brands like 'hi-sense' are a good buy). So for me Daikin, yes are expensive, but in my opinion one the best on the market at that price range. Of course there will be a few more posts disliking them, but at least you have my opinion.

That's a strange statement. I don't know where you are looking. It has been available in Bangkok, Pattaya, Chiangmai and probably other places since 2023. I had mine over a year ago in Pattaya, and could have also got it in Bangkok, but chose Pattaya.

The old vaccine Zostavax apparently was not that effective, but Shingrix is supposedly very good.

Shingrix is available in Pattaya...at Jomtien Pattaya Hospital. You need two shots (with a few weeks between shots). The cost is approx 11,000 to 12,000 baht for the 2 shot vaccination. This will be the cost (or more) at any hospital in Thailand.
