  1. The doctor does not owe you anything. Your problem is not his problem. He is retired. You interrupted his retirement. Did you apologize profusely before doing so? Do you understand retired? You think it means there are still strings to the old job that was purposely forgotten to allow moving on to more important stuff like fishing or photography?
  2. Take a bath. Wash your hair if any. Repeat at least twice daily. Concur washing your linen is recommended. Agree vacuuming is highly suggested. If the problem persists then take a two week vacation giving them a chance to move on to a new food source.
  3. It is just charging appropriate fees. Farangs are larger, messier and dirtier so it is reasonable that they should be charged more.
  4. Yes if they are not on your property but if on your property I think you usually own them.
  5. Did you drive around the area and call every phone number on every sign offering land for sale? If it was not what you want did you ask if they knew about any that meet your specs? They would help in order to get a commission. Did you get your feet on the ground and ask local shop owners or restaurant owners? Did you ask the Puu Yai Baan? Did you hang out at the local temple for a couple of days and talk to people who came in there? It is actually quite straight forward but you have to get off your keyboard. Do you mean Baan Pa Bong?
  6. Yeh I always ask for 3 days warning before any pipe breaks or pump fails. It is a special service which I pay extra for.
  7. What you need in terms of poles and transformer will depend on your local PEA, not same in all areas. So ask them and get a real number. Much better than getting a bunch of guesses here. Do you know if there is 3 phase on those poles? Do you know if those lines are at capacity or if there is power available for your needs?.........
  8. No, it is already Sunday when you posted.
  9. I never bothered with all that because I learned that once a year activity was enough to keep the accounts open and active here and in USA. No need for the rest of that, I am not writing a book.
  10. Activity can be as simple as updating your bank book to get the interest put into it. I have kept Thai bank accounts active for many years just by doing that. One year no activity often causes accounts to be put on inactive status so they can not be used in the US also. Generally easy to reactivate so can be used.
  11. Why would any legal activity put here in the middle of a transaction and pay her to simply transfer the money? The owner could do it themselves in the time it tells her what to do.
  12. Vanguard International in Dublin has accounts a Thai can open but minimums are USD 100,000 for each fund. Vanguard US will require a US address.
  13. Same. She likes it higher than the Thai style. 90 is I think standard for USA and Europe.
  14. If you ask an employee you may receive incorrect information even if you show them a picture. Lots of employee turnover and very large variety of stock. After being told no have, I often find what I wanted after wondering around or asking a second or third employee.
  15. If there is not a difference between the charge, there is certainly a difference between the cost and that is with or without VAT. So yes absolutely.

  17. Did you try Home Sukkapan? How about that big building supply store, Boontavorn?, on the super on the way to Lampun, on the left side after the Isuzu Don Jan? Seen small sizes at both places, 4X4 and up.
  18. None I know of. But I do not think Thailand is the only place it has happened.
  19. Correct, I first tried it with VPN on and it did not work. Thank you.
  20. No Yes Maybe, link does not work, Maybe Home Pro, they had it two months ago when I was checking out the Rustoleum stuff.
  21. But they can quarantine you in a Hotel and make you pay without a positive test, just because of proximity. A bit cheaper and easier than a hospital but still locked up. The OP asked about hospitals but should be aware of possible hotel quarantine costs too.
