  1. Chase, Vanguard, Fidelity and others offer inexpensive sometimes free SWIFT transfers. I have used Vanguard for $10 SWIFT and get a bit more Baht usually than WISE offered for my transfers. A few times WISE would have paid more Baht but only 1+200. When I suggested another thread I was referring to the post talking about transfers to other countries, not to Thailand.
  2. Okay, I have not looked into their worldwide systems, only the one for Thailand on a limited basis. Perhaps you can open another thread for world wide information if you think anybody cares.
  3. Everybody needs to have a backup banking system including backup banks and backup transfer systems. Relying on one is not wise specially when there are several at very low costs, often even beating WISE on delivering more money for a specific amount transferred. Don't waste your time blah blah about WISE, go set up an alternative.
  4. No it does not make sense because WISE does not do Swift transfers to deliver money to customers. They set up business to avoid that.
  5. Topic name says "bleed" the pump which means dran the water out and post says top it up with water. Opposites. Which are you trying to do? To drain it, most likely you just remove the fitting/bolt under the pipe that goes to the left. To fill it you would have to get into the fitting on top of where the pipe from the left enters. Difficult because of the location of the top pipe. Better yet provide a photo of the top pipe going up, extend up from top right corner. There may be a plug that you can remove there to access a fill point. Mine has a fill point there When you repipe have them angle the top pipe so that it does not cover the fill point but please do not have them change the pipe going to the left. All that white pipe tape on the outside of the joints is classic. he probably thought the label on the tank was for the whole unit

  7. what kind of extension, retirement, marriage, child care,work....????? They are not all the same Stament.
  8. 500 is a minor irritation, they should go for 1,500 or 2,000 and really <deleted> some people off. And in February Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia and India will impose similar fees on Thais entering their country. Let the entry fee wars begin.
  9. More than a few would do it for free with their rusty fishing knife.
  10. So tell him to do it, he is responsible for the problem. Depends on the block surface but you are right that it is often not possible. Also depends on how long the cement has dried. Someone way back said vinegar but that was about a roofing tile. Might try a spot out of the way.
  11. Do you want the average price asked, the average price paid for the service, the average price paid by farangs for the service or the average price paid by all customers, including or excluding those Thais that get 30 Baht medical service? And would that be for all crowns, gold crowns only, silver metal crowns, white ceramic crowns or redwood crowns?
