I'm having fun drinking Johnnie Waller and watching Ben Shapiro and his cronies on the Daily Wire. Shapiro looks really dangerous when he's happy.

Last Chance, Get out to Vote: Fascism vs Freedom
Gsxrnz replied to Yagoda's topic in Political Soapbox
Bothe sides think the other side are fascists. One of them is probably right. Regardless, politicians are like diapers and should be changed regularly - for the same reason. -
Bangkok Tightens Grip on Urban Pet Ownership with New Ordinance

Bugger! I was hoping they'd misspelt ordnance. -

Somewhat coincidental, but Happy Guy Fawkes Day to everybody.

I use AIS but this probably applies to DTAC. Login to DTAC webpage. If you haven't got a login, register and associate your phone number to your new account. Stumble around in the account settings and somewhere you'll find a setting to turn off junk mail/messaging/notifications. Or download the DTAC app and do the same. You'll find a setting somewhere. Or you may be able to send a text code that turns the switch on. Just look around the app or website and you'll find something. I still get one or two a week from AIS that bypass the setting, but better than the five I used to get every day.

Thailand Cuts Diesel Prices Amid Global Oil Price Drop
Gsxrnz replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The oil price is down because world demand has reduced after over correcting from the Mexican beer crisis (when oil was worthless or could cost more money to store than it was worth), and OPEC now need time to adjust production downwards to match supply and inflate the price. I wouldn't suggest there is a recession looming, because we're already there. We're in that lag period between the trigger being pulled and the bullet hitting the target. Just ask Germany. -
Tourists Panic as Fire Erupts at Indian Restaurant in Pattaya
Gsxrnz replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
"Local officials are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of the electrical fire." Occam's Razor would suggest dodgy wiring. And there isn't even a plausible competing hypothesis. -
I didn't even know this was a thing. As if I didn't already have enough to worry about.

Before renting, always, ALWAYS locate the local village gossip or preferably the chief gossiper. For the cost of an ice-coffee or a few slices of durian she (always a she) will give you the low down on everybody in the village with no holds barred. Works in a condo too. Just don't ask the office staff, find the cleaning lady.

Why do unemployed greasy little Thai men always get the hot girls?
Gsxrnz replied to Chris Daley's topic in General Topics
I asked Jordan, and he said women were attracted to men who tended to be aggressive and disagreeable. Because they are the ones who will defend them and put meat on the table - irrespective of looks. And this is a good thing. Because if this were not the case, the human race would have never survived the last ice-age. 95% of men rate a 3 or a 4 on a good day, and we all know it. And now we are seeing the world birth rates declining to well below replaceable rates - because all those "males" less than 35 have a sperm count 50% of what their father's was, and are Tic-Toccing left leaning neurotic snowflakes who barely know which leg to put in which hole in their underpants. -
Something to help take your mind off the upcoming elections

There should be an absolutely awesome deepfake release of news today or tomorrow from the MSM. In the hope of stigmatising the Trumpster with a fatal blow with only 2-3 days to go and not enough time for the fake news to be debunked. But I think the MSM are too late and have been upstaged by P'Nuts. Maybe murdering P'Nuts was actually Trump's idea and he coerced the Feds to do it. Yeah, maybe that will be the story - Trump murdered P'Nuts. 5555

This is a bigger story than you would otherwise think. Pnuts has millions of followers and his own website - pnutsfreedomfarm.com Government overreach epitomized. The cats and the dogs and the squirrels may decide the election outcome. Welcome to P'nuts Freedom Farm! Where Second Chances Thrive Seven years ago, a tiny, fluffy baby squirrel entered our lives and changed everything. "Peanut the Squirrel" quickly captured hearts and became a household name. Despite being reintroduced to the wild, Peanut faced adversity, losing half of his tail in a severe attack. Without developing essential wildlife instincts, Peanut became an indoor, non-releasable squirrel. Remarkably, Peanut went on to become the first squirrel to amass over 1 million, and then 2 million, followers on TikTok, with a combined social media following of over 3 million. Thanks to the overwhelming love and support from our dedicated followers, we established "P'nuts Freedom Farm." This sanctuary is a haven where neglected and homeless animals receive a second chance at life. Join us on this incredible journey as we rescue animals in desperate need of care and provide them with the highest quality of life. At P'nuts Freedom Farm, we believe in transforming lives and creating a future full of hope and compassion for every animal we save.

House Passes Bill Banning Physical Punishment of Children

Spare the rod, spoil the child. And if you need evidence of the value of this aphorism, look no further than today's western snowflake and entitled values and culture. 'Nuff said. -

With hyper-inflation just around the corner, Googly might be able to afford the fine in a few years when that many zeroes will buy you a shrink-flationed bIG mAC. -
Meanwhile back in the real world, the joke was a reference to the well-known and on-going problem that Puerto Rico has regarding garbage and waste disposal. But don't let facts get in the way of a good rant. "Puerto Rico is grappling with a pressing trash problem that’s not just a visual blight, but a serious threat to its stunning landscapes, marine life, and the environment. The urgency of this crisis is underscored by its far-reaching impacts on health, tourism, and the economy. Let’s delve into the reasons behind this crisis, its profound effects on Puerto Rico, and the ongoing efforts to restore the island to its former glory." Barn door/horse bolted. I wonder if Russia and China have established a secret military foothold in the US via the leaky non-existent southern border? Actually, I don't really wonder... -
