  1. Yes, I agree, blame it on the Dems. I do. If they had succeeded in bringing this reprobate to task he and his gang of blackguards wouldn't be back in the WH today. Does Bondi even use her desk? Somebody check if Merrick Garland is still asleep under it. The Dems bring a spoon to a knife fight, while the GOP goes for the jugular.
  2. Sounds like they're now charging by the kg.
  3. Cambodia still hates VN for invading and bringing Pol Pot to an end, even if it did save their ass. I would suspect the Chinese entrepreneurs who run the casinos in Sihanoukville et al are in contact with the powers that be in Bkk to buy a protection agreement. How will it affect Pattaya? Less Cambo hawkers I guess. Are there bars that specialize in Cambodian girls? Do bear in mind modern Pattaya's roots are in the military.
  4. We keep our big farang noses out of it. Went through that in Malaysia 20 years ago.
  5. I have suspected he might do something like this, claiming "time for a new White House." And of course it will line his pocket, in the same way that he is presently trying to frame Powell with construction fraud. There is no one to stop him, and he knows it. The 6-3 Supreme Court is his choir. Keep a shrewd eye on him and his, they usually show their hand in these goofy accusations. Tulsi bringing up the word "treason." Bad idea, lady.
  6. A lot can happen by May. The new owner can change the rules, but probably part of the deal not do so long as DT is in office. It's an obvious payoff, right out in the open, brass b_lls. He did the same with Columbia U, he doesn't give a rat's tail about antisemitism.
  7. To paraphrase a certain Monty Python skit: surrender, or I will obliterate you a second time.
  8. Hadn't been to Pattaya in a long while, decided to detour there on a trip back from Cambodia. Just riding into town on the minbus, looking out the window it hit me: "what the hell were you thinking?"
  9. I wasn't going to be the first to bring up this name, but I just heard someone on US teevee do it. Frank Pentangeli.
  10. And with Congress out until after Labor Day he has it all to himself, the POTUS reality show. In the language of the area of Queens, NYC where he was born, he's "sh_tting bricks." Probably thinking "yeah, they liked it when I bombed Iran, I'll do that again." He ain't gonna outrun this child molester rap, the fool doesn't realize how obvious he's been since Elon struck the blow.
  11. Pay attention, the acts that they accuse others of is possibly a chronicle of their own actions. There's a lot about Tulsi to look into, like why RT loves her. Fox loves her too -- what do these two networks have in common?
  12. Lousy crust + lousy sauce. That is the whole of my PC review. I only ate there once, hanging out with another expat. I think he brought us there for a laugh, the little rat.
  13. In the December before he would step down Obama had some Russian embassies/consulates shut down and sent home, in a fairly quiet way. Did not elaborate on the reason, just 'you guys get the hell out." Well, publicly that is. Does being against Russia equate to being against DT? You can tell DT knows he stinks about something when he keeps bringing things up, like russiarussiarussia, Mueller report, Steele dossier. He thinks that reminding people how he claims these as victories will cause them to say "oh yeah, the Mueller report, everybody knows that was fake." I hear him bring these up every week or two. All of these things deserve a second look, which should have been initiated by Garland.
  14. The teflon is peeling off. Sounds like somebody in DC is scared: Mike Johnson shuts US House early to avoid Epstein vote https://www.ft.com/content/6a42cc0c-82bf-4433-b74b-d67497e9977b But wait, there's more Justice Dept. Reaches Out to Ghislaine Maxwell https://www.nytimes.com/2025/07/22/us/politics/ghislaine-maxwell-epstein-doj.html Though I expect this second one won't make much difference, Team MAGA will quash it one way or another. Quietly the DC MAGA machine is vanishing, for now at least. The star of the show has been relatively quiet for the second day now. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/07/22/nyregion/alina-habba-nj-us-attorney.html From the beginning I thought Habba looked like Melania in her younger days, I figured DT took her on to, umm, take dictation and stuff like that.
  15. His wife is Indian. As it is probably easier to find Indian groceries and sundries in UK I suspect the missus might plan to to stock up, and will be returning with sacks of dahl, five-gallon tins of cooking oil, etc. Anyone familiar with train travel in India will understand what I mean. Oh yes, and a large supply of kohl, that stuff she puts on hubby's eyes. ♫ . . . Desmond stays at home and does his pretty face . . . ♫ ♫
  16. What, no Don Jr ? Just saying that there will be a 2028 election is a questionable position in itself.
  17. So being pro-pederast is now part of being a MAGA supporter? Are Proud Boys types going to be threatening to rape liberals' kids?
  18. https://www.thewrap.com/kayleigh-mcenany-trump-nobel-peace-prize-seth-meyers-reaction/
  19. If going to Soi 6 it's best to avoid the alley that runs parallel to it, it was the domain of some pretty aggressive chicks with d_cks last time I was there. Generally speaking most of the Japanese I've talked with in LOS were pretty cool, they usually quietly observe rather than criticize. One politely asked me to teach him how to roll a joint.
  20. She will not testify anywhere. There will likely be an unfortunate accident somewhere between the prison and wherever they will be transporting her to. DT says he "wishes her well." I think that translates to drop dead (for those unfamiliar with US ways, this can be taken as similar to saying "bless your heart" as the nice Christian way to say "__ck you."). Right now she has the choice of keeping her mouth shut and sitting in a cell until maybe 2041 or being murdered sooner than that; well, not really her choice, anybody do a health check on her in the past hour?
  21. I agree, I think JD is scarier than DT because he will obey the puppet masters and the strings will be quite short.
  22. In the past DT has (reportedly) reaped millions of $$$ in impressively short amounts of time from his small-donation supporters. I suspect that very soon (like in an hour from now?) he will be using media appearances to beg for donations to his defense fund: support your favorite president, fight the deep state, defeat the Biden crime family, the extreme far-left radicals, the ones causing whales to die of cancer, etc. The response (or lack of) to the child molester rep would be very telling. But wait, what if Fox doesn't carry his plea? Myself, I think this pursuit of kids is heinous. But I also don't understand the allure these guys have. It doesn't make any difference, the documents will either be blank or just pages of gibberish, so this whole "release the documents" thing the media is banging on about is just another "here Fido, go chase the stick!" ploy. It's the same as with questions: him and his will vocally respond but will not give an answer.
  23. Around 20 years ago a friend was visiting Bkk, went to meet him where he was staying in that area. He's gay. We're walking around past all the gogos and quick-service bars, we turn a corner and suddenly it's all bars/cafes with tables spilling out into the street and loaded with people, a big gay scene, and very crowded. I had no idea. The area now sports a bunch of boutique hotels catering to that crowd. Be cautious when going to use the public bathrooms at the malls in that area, some of the lads may think you are there to socialize.
  24. Yes, IMO the same entity corrupting the SCOTUS is the real force behind the Project 2025 initiative, and that DT was their useful means of obtaining the WH. The useful buffoon will be replaced by a patsy who will DO AS HE IS TOLD. Looks like that will be the invertebrate Vance. On the other hand look to what Team Nixon did in Watergate, and DT seems to be doing the same moves. like telling the public they are tired of hearing about Epstein. Nixon tried to divert the political condemnations to his certifiably corrupt veep (Spiro Agnew), who was forced to resign, so when DT begins slamming on Vance you know he's really quaking. There is a boatload container ship of things they can go after DT for that predates his entry into politics, like laundering money for Russian oligarchs and Iranians. https://www.timesofisrael.com/trump-hotel-in-baku-tied-to-corrupt-oligarchs-irans-revolutionary-guards-report/
  25. Welcome to the world of US right-wing media. Notice that the DT supporters and Fox fans on here repeat DT and Fox verbatim. Bring up any aspect of this guy and his media circus that has not been covered by Fox/RT/OAN/et al and they are at a loss for a response, but they will try to divert to something Fox reported on that they can parrot. E.g. DT/FOX: it's all the fault of that evil political mastermind Joe Biden. Ten minutes later the same teevee personality will talk of how Biden was practically a comatose root vegetable. On the other hand there is the stuff Fox and its alumni plays down to a level that is borderline criminal, like "nothing happened on Jan 6 2021 except for the death of a visiting tourist," Russia had no part in the 2016 election, and all the rest. Man, I wish the Dems were as clever and brazen as MAGA makes them out to be.
