There is another fear in GOP/MAGAworld right now, that is best summed up in three words: Speaker Hakeem Jeffries. Now that Team Orange has taken over the RNC and its coffers it is leaving the down-ballot candidates (US Reps, state reps, etc) with no campaign finances. Like his DIL says, DT will get every RNC penny. This isn't completely recent, after January 2021 DT began telling his faithful to send money to HIMSELF, not the RNC. The first consequence I heard of this was Michigan GOP had $18 left in its coffers a few years ago. If there is a "civil war," violent insurrection, or whatever it can be called it will be among those on the right, no Dems or libs involved. Think of the McCarthy vote in the House last year, the Dems sitting there under blankets, laughing and boozing it up while the GOP were on the brink of coming to blows with each other.
