  1. And do you think the reason for Putin's behavior is who was in the WH?
  2. Please keep your name so that I don't have to add another one to my ignore list. Whatever new version of you will be based on the old version. There is no hope that it will be much different.
  3. I had a couple of sick days off. And I was actually sick. I never called in sick because I wanted a day off. When I visited doctors in Thai hospitals they normally ask if I need a sick leave notice. It seems that attitude depends a lot on the employer and what is usual in those companies. I remember I read a study that lots of people in the German post offices report sick all the time, mostly on Fridays and Mondays. I think if people are not well, for whatever reason, then they should rest and get better. If someone if sick in the office or at a construction site, is that helpful? Or would it be better that they get fit first before they work again?
  4. Selling weapons and buying cheap oil are obviously the priorities of the land of the free. And I am sure the other guy who wants to be POTUS wouldn't be any better.
  5. I think most professional shops don't sell over Lazada or something like that. I think I found "my" Bosch shop by going to the Bosch website and looking for authorized dealers in Thailand. I bought by now at least 6 battery powered Bosch Professional tools from them, plus accessories. Their service is professional - like one would expect from someone who sells tools to professionals. I am sure such professional shops exist for many brands.
  6. Is there something like an exclusive property agent in Thailand who is the only one who sells a property? It seems they exist for new properties but so they also exist for "used" property? When everybody is selling anything then it's not surprising that few of them spend much time on individual properties. They just want to sell something, get a commission, and do the same again. And my point is that with a condominium it is almost impossible not to rely on agents. I am sure with houses there are more things which the seller can do without agents.
  7. It would be interesting to know how many guys who buy a bar in Thailand did ever work in a bar, i.e. as manager, before they did that. How many have experience, even a little, of running a restaurant or bar? It seems many are just regular bar visitors and at some time someone offers them a bar and they think they can make everything better than all the others. And they dream about this successful bar with all those beautiful girls and happy customers and lots of money. And often they think they can run the business by sitting on a bar stool for a couple of hours a night. And then, often sooner than later, they discover that it doesn't work like that...
  8. I know one guy who lived and worked in Thailand with a decent job and salary. And then he retired and bought a bar. And he lost money and later borrowed lots of money and finally sold the bar. He returned bankrupt back to the UK and lives in a home for old man. I am sure he is not the only one.
  9. That might be what you thought, but I never said I bought a kit. I will add you now to my ignore list so that I don't have to read more of your annoying comments. Enjoy your small little world.
  10. Maybe there are lots of factors and sometimes it seems it is not so easy. I bought my condominium in a 30 year old building about 2 years ago. At that time, I looked at maybe 10 similar units in the same building. It seems I was the only one looking. I bought it for a good price. When we went to the land office the building manger told me this was the only transfer of a property in that building within the last year. There are still many units available, for reasonable prices. But almost all of those units have to be renovated. This might be a reason why few people are interested to buy, even if the buying price plus renovation is a lot less than other newer buildings nearby. It seems one reason why people (Thais) buy new is because it is much easier to finance new properties.
  11. Yes, you can do that. And what do they do? Mostly nothing. And all of them want a lot of money for doing almost nothing. A couple of years ago I had to sell a house in Europe. I looked for a qualified property agent company and I found one. They did a lot of work and had lots of people visiting the property, they prepared necessary documents, and and and. I paid them a similar commission what a Thai "agent" wants. The big difference is that they actually worked for the money and sold the house for a good price within 3 months. Looking at posts in this forum and what I hear from other people it is very difficult in Thailand to find qualified property agents who know what they are doing and who actually work actively to sell my/your property.
  12. I start to get annoyed with your ignorant comments. But just to make you happy I just looked it up. I bought a Bosch Cordless hammer drill GBH18V-26F + GDE18V-16FC SET for 26,234 THB. Do I have to look up all the other prices for angle grinder, saws, etc. and post the invoices for you? Or can you try to imagine that you are not the only guy who has some decent tools? Hilti is obviously good. But it's not the only good brand.
  13. I am so sorry that I confused you with an image just somewhere from the internet and not from the company where I bought the tools. If you don't like Bosch Professional products, then I guess you never used them or never looked them up. You could try to inform yourself before you show your ignorance online. Here is the URL from the website of the company where I bought the tools, in Thailand: https://tcltools.com/
  14. You can put a sign "for sale" on your land of your house and many people will see it. You can't do anything like that with a condominium. So how do you find people who are interested in buying your property? That is obviously only one of many aspects.
  15. Does it really matter how many tools are on the shelf? Maybe you buy now one of them, and in 3 months you would like to use the other one, but you don't have it. Then 3 months later the same situation again. And then? Likely you will buy also the 2nd tool. And then you ask yourself: Why didn't I buy both of them and avoid the headache?
  16. Maybe I just don't have enough imagination. How do you make a straight precise cut in wood with an angle grinder?
  17. In the last two years I bought a couple of Bosch Professional 18V tools. They all have enough power and the batteries last.
  18. A circular saw is not a table saw. And circular saws and angle grinders are both available battery powered.
  19. I don't know. As far as I remember she was years at that school. And then she started to work in a 5-start hotel (and I think later in another one). That school seems to have a very good reputation. But the girl was also highly motivated. So, it's not surprising that she is successful now.
  20. It's some time since I used it. But as far as I know Norton Ghost ghost32.exe still works with SSDs.
  21. In general, backup and clone software are something different. I will look for clone software if you need that, and/or backup if you need backup. Not same, different.
  22. I used Samsung software. It is free and works fine with Samsung SSDs, maybe also with others. I am sure other manufacturers have their own free software.
  23. I don't think there is a "better" between those two. I have both, and many other tools, and I never thought if I should us the circular saw or the angle grinder. It was always obvious which one should be used. I use the circular saw for straight, sometimes precise, cuts in wood. I use the angle grinder to cut metal, sometimes in places where it would be very difficult to use a saw. In theory I could also use the angle grinder for stone, but I have no need for that. What you might want to consider is a multitool, with carbide blade. Depending on what you do this might be helpful instead of above tools.
