I have no answer for you, but some suggestions. I renovated my condominium from scratch, and I wanted it sound-proof within reason. I had a contractor who also works in 5-star hotels. He didn't know much about what to do. I looked at many YouTube videos and read articles about the problems and possible solutions. And then I told my contractor what I want. I.e. make sure all crevices in all walls are 100% closed. Because that is one of the main problems how sound is transferred. That includes holes for internet cables, etc. I have an automatic sound barrier under my front door. If you like I can give you more information. Sound isolation depends a lot on the frequencies. It is almost impossible to reduce low frequency sound. I suggest learning for yourself about the possible options. Because contractors can do a lot of things which are expensive and reduce the noise level. And/or they can do other things which are not so expensive and maybe better. If you don't know much about this, it's easy to fall into a trap and let someone sell you an expensive "solution" which maybe can be solved for a lot less money.

Why don't you find out yourself? I started this thread to find out the best way for me in my situation. I am obviously no expert in this, otherwise I would not have started this thread. Feel free to start a new thread and make sure you mention your garden and no chicken.

I am sure that you are aware that must have is not the same as actually have in Thailand. And there are lots of pipes between the kitchen drain and the big down pipes. I don't see a reason to clog them if there are better ways to handle this.

That is one of the reasons to buy parts from authorized dealers. Obviously, it is impossible to guarantee that those authorized dealers sell fake things, but the chance that they do it is not very high. And obviously, if it is too cheap to be real, then probably it isn't real.

There are cases where people get convicted with too little evidence. And those cases are the reason that the death penalty is problematic. The problem are not just the counterfeit auto parts, the problem are also the mechanics who would use such parts and who "think" all will be fine. Professionals all over the world only use oil and sensors and more of above from well-known brand names to make sure all works fine.
