We all know that Trump lies all the time. I am waiting for 90% of his party to finally admit that Trump is a serial liar. In the moment most of them still pretend that Trump is a great candidate to become POTUS again. When will they finally admit the truth?

I wonder if all those news companies all over the world will report about this the same way like they report about another group of tourists. Hey mama, I will visit Thailand next month. Yeah son, that is a great idea. I saw they have those temple tours over there...

When I go out to bars with friends then usually I drink. Sometimes also wine or beer with food. I never had an alcohol problem. When I am drinking, I always knew when I have enough. Sometimes I stop in the middle of the 20th or whatever drink because I know now it's time to stop. And after a night out with lots of drinks I never felt like repeating that again rights away. Maybe a few days or a week later, but never the next day. In a way I seem to be lucky with that attitude. Some people just never stop, even if they are already totally wasted. I never understood.

About the different Sois: It makes a huge difference if there are schools, if there is a U-turn on the main street nearby, another route at the end of the Soi, etc. I.e. I drive in the morning often to a bakery near Soi 31. I get there through Soi 23. That Soi, and nearby is standing traffic every morning (and I guess afternoon) because of all the people who bring their kids to school. I wouldn't want to live in that chaos.

In my limited personal experience, a lot of the market doesn't make sense. Before I bought something I expected that within the same building there would be a price logic like: the place in the best condition and highest floor should be the most expensive. But reality is different. Especially one place which I visited was in the worst condition of all and the owner asked for the highest price...

It seems many people only want to see black and white. This guy good, this guy bad. Why is it so difficult to acknowledge that each candidate has good and bad points? If people would look for a balanced presidential candidate who could unite the nation, then maybe they would find such a person. Problem is, it seems nobody wants a sensitive moderate person.

I wonder how that works with Thai guys. I wouldn't be surprised if many Thai guys would love to show that they are able and willing to also invite her friends. Like: No problem, I can afford that. I think sometimes the line is not so clear between what is polite and what is too much. And in some cases, when we think about a permanent relationship, then maybe we are happy for opportunities to give her friends a chance to confirm that she met Mr. Right.

I don't want to brag, but over the years I had hundreds of "meetings". I don't think any girl ever cared about the light on or off or whatever.

I never played in the online dating world. From what I hear and read there are just lots of different expectations. If two parties just want to have sex, fine. If someone wants to get paid, also fine, if that is clear from the beginning. If people are looking for a long-term relationship and maybe marry, fine. If people like to go on a night out and then let's look and see, up to them. But if the expectations are different then it obviously becomes difficult. Personally if I want company for a few hours, I go to gogo-bars. There is no misunderstanding what everybody expects.

It should be easy. But looking at the Thai visa application form there are a couple of confusing questions. Until now I lived and worked in Thailand, with many years or Non-B visa (extensions) and work permit. Now I end my employment with one company, and I will start an employment with another company in maybe two months. In between I want to stay in Thailand, in my condominium. And because there is no better word or option for it, I guess I am a tourist for that time. On the application forms are questions like: a) Current Address b) Permanent Address c) Purposed address in Thailand d) Name and address of local Guarantor e) Name and address of Guarantor in Thailand I guess a) is the hotel in Phnom Penh which I visit. b) and c) is the address of my condominium in Bangkok (same as permanent address and as tourist destination)? And who is the Guarantor? My girlfriend? My banker? I am confused. Any help or any idea who I should ask? P.S.: Years ago, I applied in the same embassy for a business visa. I did that without a problem. But then, someone else prepared all the documents for me for that one.

I there some little device which can be connected to a router or maybe WLAN which monitors the internet? And maybe shows an alarm on an app if the internet or WLAN doesn't work? I guess I could create something like that with an ESP32. But I am sure someone else invented that already. And maybe they sell it cheap on Lazada or AliExpress or similar. But what is the name of such a device? Any ideas? Recently the electricity was off in a place which I don't visit regularly and because of that the internet was off. I didn't notice for a few days. With a little device and app like described above that should be easy to detect and monitor.

Likely I will spend a couple of days and nights in Phnom Penh. Maybe someone here has some recommendation for the following: - Great espresso, please no coffee chains - Good restaurants - Pool halls or bars with good quality pool tables - Bars with pretty girls, preferable on stage Maybe you know individual places or streets. Or websites with up-to-date information. Thanks
