Is it also murder if you kill insects? And how about eating those living plants? And about eating dead animals. I think that is a lot better than the alternative, eating living animals.

I would love to hear their reason why they support a guy who is a known monger, divorced a couple of times and who likes to grab p$#$#. With my limited understanding of those religious people this is not what they say they one should do.

I do what makes me happy. I am too lazy to exercise, and I like good food. And from time to time a couple of drinks. I think it's always funny to see people who don't eat certain things because they are not good for their health - and then the people are moaning or at least unhappy about that. Just eat it! We will all die. I prefer to die happy and maybe a few years earlier and not old and healthy and miserable. What I don't eat, mostly because I don't like it, is fast food, food with lots of MSG in it, ready meals or any of that. Enjoy life, and don't think too much.

I think I remember a former owner or manager of that place. He told me he had a sign on the wall for Muslims: I respect your religion and I won't serve you any alcohol. ????

Believe me, after 25 years Bangkok nightlife I can tell the difference - at least with 99%. I think it's always funny how some people see ladyboys everywhere. Yes, they exist. But no, they are not everywhere. And at least on my few Hooter visits I never saw any of them working in Hooters.

It's always nice to get competent and relevant answers. And then there are people who just want to write something, anything. Maybe that makes those people feel important or whatever...

My point was and is that it is much easier for all of us to see the extreme people on the other side. I.e. I consider myself to be somewhere center left. I see news about those crazy Trump supporters, election result deniers, etc. It's easy for me to say: they are all crazy. Because I have little to no personal contact with any of them. But I am pretty sure there must also be some normal people out there who are conservative but not crazy rightwing. And of course the people on the right see the extremes from the left. And maybe they think: All the left must be like that. They are all crazy. Even if what they see is probably only the opinion of the extreme left.

I understand your point. Personally, I encountered little about the gender ideology. But I live in Thailand and most of my friends like to go to girly bars. So, it's not exactly likely that we talk about those things. Sometimes I watch videos from Peter Boghossian and others. They are not right wing. But he and other dare to question the attitudes of the radical left. And I think it's sad to see how afraid some people on the center left are to speak out against people on the far left. Yes. And to be fair we should also mention the radical left with their own set of facts. And IMHO the not so radical left fails to separate themselves from the radicals on their site. I.e., all that gender ideology and 100 different pronounce, etc. is clearly and idea of the radical left. And by now it seems everybody who does not embrace this ideology is called Nazi or bigot or right wing. And as far as I see that happens because the not so radical left let it happen. Recently I saw a couple of videos on YouTube from people who are conservatives. And I have to admit I agree with most of what they say about the left. It seems there are more people out there who want to divide everybody and not try to find common ground.

And maybe you should learn about kids and how they grow up and what they typically learn from the father and what they learn from the mother. Not surprisingly they learn different things from their male and female parents. This is why it is most healthy when kids have both mother and father taking care of them. That doesn't mean that if a couple breaks up or one partner dies that the kids should be taken away from them. That would obviously be bad. But it also means that it is sub-optimal to let single people, or only male or only female couples adopt children. The focus should be what is good for the children and not what the adults want.

Did I write this anywhere? If you have them then you have them and taking away the children from you won't be (in general) good for the children. And in general, it is also not good for children if they don't grow up with a female mother and a male father at the same time. There are already too many unhappy children out there.

Thanks, that is obviously a similar situation. Do they really believe that? I mean, maybe they do. Or is that one of those things which they say to be part of their club, but they don't really believe it? I don't know. From the political left part of view, it is obvious that we can call all this people stupid idiots. And maybe they are all stupid idiots. But then it's still hard to believe that so many people can be so stupid. So, in a way I hope there is another explanation which I just don't see or never heard because I have no political right American friends.

I am not American and not right wing. Maybe someone from over there can help me to understand this situation. Who is watching or hearing these shows (regularly)? Do many right wing Americans really think that school shooting never happened? Or do they know it happened but somehow they think it's funny to deny reality? What is going on over there? From my point of view a nutter like Jones wouldn't be a problem if nobody would listen to him. And even if someone is rightwing I don't think it is necessary to be at the same time a fan on conspiracy theories. What am I missing? How is it possible that that guy is successful?

Personally my favorite "soup" in Thailand is Tom Kah Gai. But as with all other food, I wouldn't want to eat it every day. It's like comparing bananas with apples. Which one is better? There is no better, they are different - just like lots of soups in Thailand and all over the world.

With high power you can get lots of water with a high temperature. With low power you can only heat lots of water to a not so high temperature or just a little water (slow water flow) to a high temperature.

A short circuit does not have to be a reason for a fire. It's only possible to have a fire if there is lots of flammable material. And there should be much flammable material in venues like that. So maybe the cause of the fire is an inspector who didn't do his job.

I understand your intention and hopefully that will work. But I imagine if someone, i.e. a hotel manager, would ask you if you are her father or related to her. And then, if you tell the truth, you say no. Then try to explain that you changed your name to her name so that you don't have to explain why you travel together with a young girl... I hope you have enough, and influential enough, people who can confirm your story. P.S.: I am just playing devils advocate here. I hope nobody ever wants to create trouble for you.
