  1. What do you mean with partner up? I.e. they are married to a person of their own age and then they have one or several younger mia nois? That seems to be common for guys who can afford it.
  2. For me it seems the big question is how old was the girl when they started the relationship. The most extreme I know is a guy who started a relationship with an 18 year old girl when he was already over 70. Yes, he puts something in her pension fund every month and she will have enough money in the future. But the "funny" part is they seem to be happy together. At least before Covid I saw them often enough, for hours at a time, and I never got the impression that she didn't love him. And I get that impression often with other guys and their younger girlfriends. I also started my relationship when my gf was young. And we are now together since many many years. No problem. My advice to any guy who likes it is that he should look for a 20 year old girl - not 20 years difference. The important part is the age, not the difference. I.e. if a 50 year old guy starts a relationship with a 30 year old woman then she has, roughly speaking, at least 10 years of sexual and adult life experience. She is formed in many ways and it will be difficult to change her ways. If a guy from any age is the first boyfriend of an 18 year old girl that is a very different situation. She does not have lots of life experience and she does likely not have much ballast. A big part of the dynamic is that he is her first boyfriend. Most girls continue to love their first boyfriend - at least if he is not an a@$hole.
  3. I am one of those admins and I setup a couple of ADs. No problem, just follow the MS guidelines, they are documented in detail.
  4. What was the guaranteed time for that test? I.e. 24h? Only because you received a service one or a few times faster than expected doesn't mean it will be always like that. And about those ignorant young German girls in Bangkok: Let me guess, they all had smart phones, and probably they were using them about 23h a day. But they didn't know clubs are closed. What does this tell us about the intelligence of those girls?
  5. I guess then you should go for holiday in a first world country. Or maybe stay at home in the first world. I only wonder why you considered at all to visit a third world country. Did you expect any better in Thailand?
  6. Next: racing tires for Honda Wave...
  7. Just choose a decent airline, it doesn't have to be business class. And choose a decent hotel - if you want to enjoy it. When I made my last trip I know I had to quarantine. I don't like to waste money. But I also don't like to feel miserable. So I thought about the hotels which I know in Bangkok, and I thought about which one has good food and good cake and good espresso. And that's the one I selected. I paid maybe 2000B per day more than a cheaper hotel would have cost. Sure, that is money and it adds up. But then again, if 2000B per day is the difference between hating every day of it or actually enjoying it I think that money is well invested. It's like going to a nice bar and paying more and having a good time. That's a lot better than sitting in an ugly cheap place and having a bad time. Obviously it's up to you what you choose. But like I said above, don't expect high quality for little money - anywhere in this world.
  8. I have to admit I did this the last time a couple of years ago. I have no idea if anything changed. But now I have i.e. also my Thai driver license with my address on it. That seems to do the job in some cases where normally companies ask for my passport.
  9. Anything official with my address on it. A bank statement, a land line phone bill, things like that.
  10. Yes, heart failure definitely happens when someone dies. It happens with accidents, old age, drugs, whatever. The heart fails and death is unavoidable. So the reason "heart failure" should be on all death certificates.
  11. Thanks. In above cases it seems until now I showed them a bill with my address or a bank statement and that was all they wanted.
  12. What is a residence certificate (for Bangkok)? I live here since decades and I don't think I have such thing or need it.
  13. It seems part of the problem is that you seem to be a cheap Charlie. Don't expect first class service if you are not willing to pay for it. When I arrived in Thailand a couple of month ago I had to quarantine for a week in a hotel. No problem on the departing airport, no problem arriving in Bangkok airport, Mercedes limousine ready just for me. And then a week luxury food, pralines and espresso. I would do it again - but it definitely wasn't the cheapest offer.
  14. Windows takes a long time to update if it wasn't used for a long time. I.e. over the years I had several notebooks which I used sometimes only every couple of months. With those notebooks it happened regularly that they used a long time, sometimes an hour or so, to update Windows and other programs when I opened them the first time. That never happened on my desktop PC which I use all the time. My "solution" for the seldom used notebooks: I open then the day before I want to actually use them to let Windows install whatever it wants to install. Then everything works fine the next day. In my case this works most of the time because most of the time I know in advance when I will take those notebooks with me to a customer or on a trip.
  15. But Windows is also not as bad as some people think it is. I think I had the last malware with Windows XP before the firewall became part of Windows. Nothing since then. And I use it all the time. If people let Windows do the automatic updates and if they pay a little attention not to click here and there and everywhere then Windows is 99% secure.
  16. It's easy to win in the Thai lottery. Just buy enough tickets and you will win for sure. I remember when I once was in an office and the lottery numbers came out and one women was delighted that she just won 20k. I though: good luck for her. And then the others told me that she spends basically all her money buying lottery tickets so she will "win" all the time. ????
  17. Wonderful, you found your OS of choice.
  18. Does this happen in every family, village, city, the whole country or where? I am sure you can find all these stages somewhere in Thailand.
  19. It seems you think that you found a portable computer with good sound. What a crazy idea!
  20. Imagine you meet a guy in Nana car park and he tells you he has this great investment. And you tell him: I like to hear more about that, how about we go to your office. He says: Sure, and he walks with you straight into Lollipop. Yeah, sure!
  21. ? For normal users it doesn't make much of a difference if they buy a model which was just replaced with a new model or if they buy the new model. Both will work. If the older model is significantly cheaper and you don't need the newest and fastest and you are on a budget then go for the reasonable priced older version. It will do the job, for years.
