  1. Au contraire. Most knew exactly what I meant.
  2. It has been posted in the Motoring Forum and I'd assume that most would know Mitsu is an abbreviation for Mitsubishi, and at least know what a Triton is. If not, move on.
  3. Except his taste was for girls not boys.
  4. You know I'm talking about the car aircon?
  5. I've had my Mitsu Triton 8 years and never had the aircon filter changed. Is that something that would be done on a regular service or would you need to ask? Can't say I've ever seen a bill for it.
  6. How long did it take for Xatral to have a positive effect? I've been taking it for nearly 2 months without any noticeable improvement.
  7. Surely no insurance company is paying out on this epidemic of Indians claiming on stolen gold chains? I imagine a verifiable receipt would need to be produced as well as being mentioned on the insurance policy. I wonder if police are viewing any of the security cam footage that might capture alleged theft?
  8. And maybe the falangs were unlicenced, uninsured and drunk, who knows?
  9. AFAIK the bank letter is not signed by the customer. No doubt his passport would need to be seen by bank staff.
  10. Either employ an agent or get a friend or partner to do it.
  11. I'm now 80, never had kids and never regretted it.
  12. Sean Penn, the actor? Google reveals no such thing.
  13. Amsterdam has warned young British men to "stay away", that's the kind of reputation the Brits abroad are getting.
  14. Would you be if it was your car hit by a possibly drunk, argumentative lout?
  15. It seems there's a lot of guessing on your part.
  16. They were a bunch of drunken louts who didn't want to accept responsibility for their actions, but one was "brave" enough to sucker punch a Thai and then scarper. No way it can be justified.
  17. More likely they were drunk with no insurance and tried to scarper rather than face their responsibilities.
  18. My one and only accident in Thailand involved me clipping a Thai on a m'bike who came through on my inside. I immediately rang the insurance agent and let him negotiate with the Thai guy. I didn't get involved at all. If these Brits had no insurance, then no sympathy.
  19. Instead the Brits "king hit or sucker punch" someone and run away. Real heroes, not.
  20. If they'd got the sh*t kicked out of them it would have been richly deserved. They were the aggressors.
