    My aim was to point out that getting a legitimate driving licence in Thailand means nothing and that she would be a danger to herself and others behind the wheel. At least she has the common sense to recognise that, plenty of others don't.

    My Thai partner obtained her licence a few months ago through a legitimate driving school. She had two days of lessons and a day of written test. Guess what, she doesn't have a clue how to drive and is scared sh*tless to get behind the wheel in Pattaya. Why she bothered I don't know.

    Might be a bit of a gory clean-up, but I doubt the guy felt a thing. Pills or poison aren't always successful and may just put you in a coma, not like getting cut in half.

    Agreed, but Emergency Services have to do it every day with road accidents. I guess suicides don't have cleanup furthermost in their minds.

    But didn't succeed, so he inadvertently ended the guys suffering. Nothing to feel guilty about.

    There's a very painless way to end one's life, unfortunately the means to do so is not easily available in Thailand.
