  1. Very few countries allow euthanasia, one example.
  2. I moved to Thailand at 67, now 80, have wonderful Thai lady who takes the best care of me. I too dreaded moving into a nursing home in Australia with all the blue haired old ladies.
  3. He was diciplined by the HR dept about his behaviour, that might explain a lot.
  4. If the cord hadn't broken his fall he'd be dead.
  5. Looks like the cord had already reached it's limit, so he didn't hit the water that fast.
  6. Give the guy a break, he's just started getting rid of the rotten apples. He's not a magician.
  7. Thanks Sheryl. Have no feelings of dizziness or light headedness at this stage. I normally take the BP meds after breakfast and the Xatral before sleep.
  8. I gave up that stuff 10 years ago, just gave me bad headaches.
  9. Yes, I'm on Losartan and Cardeloc, and you're correct, my BP is 111/53. I did read that Xatral has a side effect of fatigue, so I assumed that was it. Do you suggest stopping the BP medication?
  10. Just started taking Xatral, side effects are making me as weak as a kitten, can barely lift my arms over my head. Is this common?
  11. I have the same deal with my wife. She loves her family but lays down the rules as far as visits go.They have to let us know in advance when they're coming and we'll tell them whether it's convenient or not, and if they wish to stay the night, it's for one night only. My wife values her privacy as much as I do.
  12. Apparently Bali is having a big problem with the huge influx of Russians who are opening businesses and working illegally. https://edition.cnn.com/2023/03/18/asia/indonesia-russians-ukrainians-fleeing-war-intl-hnk/index.html
  13. How long did Mercedes dominate F1?
  14. Thanks. It was doctor Jimmy Kongcharoen that mentioned Rezum, this is only if I don't get any positive results from the meds.
  15. It's there. All tastes catered for.
  16. No MRI suggested at this stage. I think the doctor wants to see if there's any improvement in urine flow with the medication. I'm nearly 81 so can't expect too many more years whatever the outcome.
  17. I think it has hovered around 6 for many years. All the results from blood and urine tests were good. No infection detected.
  18. If you'd bothered to follow the thread I was responding to another posters comments about Aussie immigration policies. Try to keep up.
  19. Apology accepted. Easy to do when you nothing about the subject.
  20. Correct. We don't put them up in first class hotels or give them housing when there's thousands of Aussies waiting years for a house.
  21. Hard to send them back when passports are destroyed and they refuse to say where they're from.
  22. Hard to find anything positive to say. Have a look what's happened in Alice Springs.
  23. Just had my Ultrasound for enlarged prostate and results weren't great. A very enlarged prostate and also high PSA of 6.8, so doctor wants me to try Xatral and Prostagutt for a few weeks to see if that helps with emptying the bladder, but if not he suggested Rezum, but wouldn't commit to costs. So if anyone has had the procedure at Bkk/Pattaya hospital, how much did it cost, was a hospital stay needed, was it done under anaesthetic and were the results positive?
  24. I did specify Pattaya.
