But that wasn't the claim, was it? Here's a better summary... Biden tried to talk to a grieving lady who didn't want to talk to him, Trump helped raise over $4.5 million for the families, while golfing. I'm pretty sure Biden didn't even touch the phone. His flunkies did.

Aftermath of the Trump Assassination Attempt Staring into the Abyss

Every one of his talking points is refuted, if you look at the actual data. But if you repeat the lies often enough... -
Which Biden did and the family appreciated. Savor the contrast. Trump rushed off stage after possible assassination attempt

On that one, we agree. I was also a little worried when Nikki Haley got invited at the last minute to speak at the RNC. I was afraid that getting shot would make Trump do something stupid on his VP selection. -
Alec Baldwin's Manslaughter Case Dismissed by Judge

But it would have been prudent of her to take a deep breath and think about whether the "hidden" evidence was even related to the Baldwin trial. The prosecutor's office claimed it wasn't. From the peanut gallery here, she looked like she got angry and went off. With a full weekend before the jury was due back, a little quiet reflection may have been a better idea. There was nothing to stop her from making the decision later, but once she did (with prejudice), there was no going back. -
Alec Baldwin's Manslaughter Case Dismissed by Judge

I neither agree, nor disagree with the dismissal. But I do question the judge's haste. Seems like the question whether the evidence was even related to the Baldwin case (or not) was the question, and a rather nuanced one. With the jury out of the room for the weekend, I'd have rather seen her ponder the issue for a few hours or days. Instead, she opened the envelope of shells, looked at them for a few minutes, and did an immediate dismissal. What was her hurry? -
I used to refer to The Donald as a despicable human being. Then I took CNN out of my news bookmarks and watched what Trump did. Not what he tweeted, and not what the MSM claimed he did. The last straw is watching the chaos of the Biden term. Today, I'm a Trump supporter. I still disagree with a lot of Trump's rhetoric, but not his results. (Except when he listened to "the experts" during early Covid days.) He claims to have completely re-written his RNC speech in a turn toward unity. We'll see.

You mean like the camps he built, and non-MAGAs he sent during his first term? -

Thousands of Dems have registered as Republicans since the Dem Elite made registering as a Democrat meaningless, taking away any semblance of a fair Primary. He's currently being referred to (accurately) as a Democrat donor. Because you can tell a person's character by how he spends his money, regardless of what box he checks. He spent his money on Dem donations and ammo. -

Florida judge dismisses the Trump classified documents case

Why? Because you disagree with the ruling? Jack Smith and the guy who illegally appointed him should be dismissed and sued. They better hope Trump wins in November, or he'll have a lot of time on his hands to sue a lot of people. -
I'm amazed that so many people call Jill a legitimate doctor, but won't extend the same courtesy to Dr. John Campbell.

Oooh. That's gotta sting. -
Judge Aileen Cannon has dismissed the classified documents case against Donald Trump. In a ruling Monday, Cannon said the appointment of special counsel Jack Smith violated the Constitution. https://edition.cnn.com/2024/07/15/politics/classified-documents-case-trump-dismissed-aileen-cannon I can hear the liberal heads exploding from 5000 miles away.

Kind of like checking a Repub box, in a regime where checking the Dem box means you wasted your primary vote. If you check Repub, you can vote against Trump in the primary. If you check Dem, your primary vote doesn't count for diddly. So claiming he's a Repub, is stupid. A nuthin' burger, if you will. Hell. At his age, I'd have registered as a Hare Krishna if it improved my chances of getting under Tina B's bra.

I hope it's true, too. But I wouldn't fund any more than camera traps based on DNA from one hair. Too easy to scrounge up one hair from a museum and go off in search of $$ funding. If there are tigers, I'd bet they're escaped or released pets. OTOH, if they get images from Ring cameras or CCTV or game cams, and that enables them find more hairs (independently verified by witnesses), great.

The USA vote process & Illegal migrant voting!
impulse replied to riclag's topic in Political Soapbox
I'd characterize it more like buying beer for minors. It's illegal, but if the kids offer to pay enough... It's the same thing with non-citizens voting. It's illegal, but if it pays... -
