The exchange rate does not help. This Country is expensive to holiday in now compared to several years ago. I am not an economist so can someone please explain how the loss of millions upon millions of foreign money coming into the Country from international tourists, ( Once a large part of GDP), can be made up by locals who are only circulating money already here?

Maybe a bit off topic, apologies, but I have always found Al-Jazeera news to be a lot more credible than all the other corrupt lying false news people such as BBC, Fox, Sky, etc. -

When the Wife stocked up her shop last month she was told beer had gone up, the following week or so Thai whiskey went up, and She was told then to expect another rise just before New Year. I guess like all Governments it is always slight of hand & misdirection. Put out news about power rates, while at the same time stealthily put a few satang on alcohol a few times. -

A bit off topic, apologies, but The Wife yesterday said She would not get anything as one of the new rules apparently is if you have money in a bank you do not qualify. I told her it is all a big con to get peoples financial status, where they are living, whether they are working, what at, and if paying taxes, and if not why not. It is all a plan to get the plebs under control. Also, you will only be able to use the money at certain shops, probably all owned by CP group....

What the F*** are you on about???????? I suggest you get off that wacky backy, or whatever it is you are taking. I never mention in my post that I have a problem with homosexuals. I was referring to the fact that some people, obviously like your good self, that get offended by certain references to how they are named. If in the future you are going to slam a post then I suggest you have the decency to also include the original post that was being answered. Moron.

Exactly so Sir, and that is one of the reasons the World is so screwed up, people demanding we bow to their wishes or they get offended. Personally, I would, and do ignore them, let them sit in their little boxes and scream and scream, until they are sick.
-
Because the liberal leftie brigade insist that 98% of the population bow to the whims of the remaining 2% who might get offended, God forbid.
