Britain is turning RACIST against white people !
Kinnock replied to CharlieH's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
🏴 Still works here .... and tried Line and YouTube and it works fine. Maybe just in UK where being patriotic is now a hate crime? -
A good friends Father was one of the first troops into the camp. He never mentioned what he saw, but he had a strict rule for his three sons .... no religion allowed in their household. He was convinced there is no God.

Not totally isolated .... they have Russia and North Korea as friends. -

..... because Nazi Germany was just a European problem, and Japan was part of Europe to? And I suppose the post war situation with the USSR was just another European issue too? -

US troops need to leave Europe before WW III so they can maintain their record of being late to each world war. -

The behaviour of Thai riders and drivers at pedestrian crossings is obscene. Odd how a kind and generous culture flips when in charge of a motor vehicle.

Sounds like the water pump may be the issue. A worn bearing or broken impeller will make a noise.

The most common cause of coolant leaks is a burst hose or hole in the radiator .... I guess there's no signs of this? If it's coming from the cap, then maybe it's a safety pressure relief in the cap? This would be caused by excess pressure from over heating? Thermostat stuck closed or fan not working?

Thailand’s 2025 Census: What You Need to Know
Kinnock replied to Georgealbert's topic in General Topics
No problem completing it, but surely all this info is already available from the ID card system and the Tabien Baan data, plus the various TM forms? -
Chinese Nationals Flee Accident Scene After Crashing Mercedes in Chonburi
Kinnock replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
She could probably hear them speaking. Scientific tests have been able to detect a group of Chinese people speaking to each other on the BTS from Mars. -
What a thoroughly shameful list of places in such an amazing cultural country - there's more to Thailand than Nana Plaza ..... you missed Bacara and Crazy House in Cowboy and there's an Angelwitch in Pattaya.

I topped up to receive full pension after calculating that even with the frozen pension I would benefit if I live to 75+. You need to calculate the potential benefit versus the cost. Of course you also need to assume the UK will not be bankrupted by illegal immigrant hotel costs, destroyed in a nuclear war with Russia (or US or both) or hit be an asteroid.

As there were no aftershocks reported today, the issue at the Government buildings was probably due to resonance created by the sudden removal of incriminating paperwork related to the collapsed audit building.

I think you misunderstood my post .... if Bangkok was not built on a bog, then based on its distance from the quake, there would be minimal or zero damage. I was just far enough from Bangkok to be on firmer ground, and felt nothing at all. The unstable land magnified the risk. The location of Bangkok on unstable ground is the issue.
-
The Myanmar quake was so far from Bangkok there should have been no damage. I was just South of Bangkok and didn't feel a thing. But Bangkok is built on soft, wet mud, so is uniquely susceptible to earthquakes hundreds of kilometres away. Chiang Mai was much closer but seemed to have less damage to buildings. So a huge earthquake along the same fault, but further South in Myanmar could cause even more damage in Bangkok. I think not buying a high rise condo in Bangkok is just being wise.

That's the end of the huge marketing budget for bottled water 😃 -
Can you jump start a mc battery from a car?
Kinnock replied to topt's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
Yes .... so long as it's a reasonably modern bike with 12v electrics. Don't leave it connected to the truck for long as you could damage the battery. But most 125's have a kick start or can be bump started. And a better option is to charge the battery, but you'll need a bike specific charger or at least one with a low charging rate. -
OK .... so 2 years of conscription before the war ended, and average age of Vietnam soldiers was 19. But I thought the definition of Boomers starts in 1946 ... so plenty of time for US oomers to serve in Vietnam, and of course Vietnamese Boomers also fought in the war.
-
Vietnam war ended in 1975, age of conscription started at 18 .... so boomers were involved in the war.

The original post sounds like a UK-centric viewpoint? Vietnam was pretty disasterous for some US, French and Vietnamese nationals .... but I agree with the general sentiment about our generation, although 'boomer' seems to now be used an insult, which is odd I don't see any of the subsequent generations covering themselves in glory either, and no generation to date has done anything to save the planet.

Yes .... if you find the right one, a good one, then life is so much better. 14 years now, and for me, at first, it was pure lust- she was just so beautiful and hot! .... but for her, she just decided I was her soul mate, and she would look.after me so well I'd never want to let her go. She's still gorgeous, but also helps run our business, as well as keeping me healthy with good food and a healthy lifestyle. I know there are gold diggers out there, and understand the negative views of some (most) AN members, but find the right one (or more likely she finds you) and she'll make your life so much better.
