Where to apply for retirement visa.
kingstonkid replied to killblues's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I am confused about the dead money in the Thai bank account. I am thinking that when I reach that point, I will simply take the 800k invested and move it from my investment into the bank 3 months ahead. Once done move 400 back to investment then move the other back depending on the market. Luckily I am Canadian and can do the paperwork with the embassy LOL -
Forecast the Chao Praya river freezing and people playing hockey on it about the same time that he actually serves time in a prison.

If you are applying it is just as easy to get the necessary paperwork and take it yourself. Why involve or pay someone that might get you a legit visa. The process is simple if you go prepared. The information and paperwork that you need is easy to access. There are experts here that can guide you alsoyou can bring up what is needed simply searching the internet. As to how fast it is or how easy it is simply check with the Thai Embassy https://www.siam-legal.com/thailand-visa/Thailand-Retirement-Visa.php -
Online actually makes corruption easier. People can submit false documents. Face to face is the best way. I am willing to bet that there are more honest staff than on the take. Like anything this is going to take a change in mentality. More like this as well as stings will resolve a lot but it has to be done in all section of the government

Teacher attacks primary students - investigative committee set up
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Have you ever taught in a class room orca group of kids. No there was no capital punishment at my or my daughter's house. I had other means of getting my point across usually loss of privilege or writing times tables -
It's not just the u.k. Canadian banks and possibly American have the same rule. My bank records show me in Thailand visiting but I still have an address for my account in Canada with my daughter. The only thing that goes there is my new bank card or visa card when they expire. If I lose my card they send it to me here. It is a government law about people living outside Canada not being able to have an account

Been there done that. That is why I teach private. You are wrong however this is not just a Thai problem with students look at the u.s. and u.k. Teacher takes away Gameboy student beats up teachers. Parents these days do not teach self respect or consequences for actions. It would be interesting to know what the home life is like. Who rule's the family. My father's outlook was that if I screwed up at school I took the punishment if he heard about it then I was in deeper trouble. Daughters school had a homework book if she screwed up I got notified in the book and dealt with it at home. She instituted the same with grandkids oldest is dean's list with 3.9 at university. -
Forgot all about JJ market (old man brain fart) Definitely go there not only do they have great stuff but you might also find someone tht can make the kind you want. Just wear light clothes and drink lots of water.

I saw this on FOX and thought, with all the talk about ladies of the evening (and daytime) here in LOS, that it was interesting https://www.foxnews.com/sports/raiders-jimmy-garoppolo-receives-raunchy-offer-nevada-brothel-workers-legit-babe Also, chicken ranches may be what they need here in Thailand

Former national police chief Chakthip to face corruption charges
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
But this is in fact what is needed. Set a liveable wage at all levels with a guarantee of 5 years and loss of pension as well as family wealth -

Looking the other way is cheaper than paying these people a liveable wage. -

This shows how the political system here works it has nothing to do with ideology but who can get me the best job and the most money. This is the old guard at their best hopefully, other parties do not follow suit It would also be a bold move if the PT said thanks but no thanks after all anyone in the present government is responsible for where we are.
