    The difference is that the soldiers and politicians who are running this country do not have the brains or knowhow to work their way around corruption the way the UK government and probably other western governments have.

    I just read that the bus from Swampy to Jomtein has risen to 197Bt. How can they justify that? It is still about 130 Bt from both Ekamai and Mochit Bus Terminal. I'm sure the Swampy to Jomtein bus was about the same. I suppose it is the Russian/ Ukraine war to blame again.

    If you are just having a one off meal and not returning to a restaurant, look at the price for the meal, have the exact money and just refuse to pay any more. Just show the menu to the waitress/waiter. point out the price, pay it then say bye bye.

    Just an insurance company being an insurance company, probably looking through their fine print and legal jargon to avoid paying out.

    Samsung are fine for smartphones, but for electrical items, fridges, microwaves etc, they are best avoided.
