That's true, but there are lots of posters who cannot afford insurance. Assuming you live here, and you pay insurance and never have to claim, then you get older and your premiums increase or are stopped altogether. That sort of behaviour only makes expats want to self insure. There are three groups I would not trust, and not just in Thailand, that is, the medical profession, banks and insurance companies.

I am referring to tourists who come in the short term, not people who live here. I agree completely with everything you have said.

I do cycling every day and am around 76 Ks. My wife weighs about the same as you, but she is 5ft 9ins tall with a figure to match. At 64 Kg you must be really small. Why does your shirt have to be collared? I don't even own a shirt with collars.

Wearing shorts are unsightly on adult men, but I certainly would not condemn it.

If you are a bodybuilding, overmuscled, steroid filled monkeyman, you are going to be as unsightly as a guy with a huge belly and big titties.

I agree with you scuba, but if a guy is exercising in a park not among a crowd and covering up when finished should be OK. A guy exercising in a park is not likely to be overweight with a big belly and big titties, therefor not so unsightly. ????

I do not see anything wrong with being shirtless doing exercises in a park as long as you cover up when finished. But I say it again, being shirtless in public is one big no no.
