I feel that way about every Labour PM in the UK in my lifetime. They are supposed to be the party of the working man, but never were. A working mans party with all these Sirs and Lords and they are all stinking rich. Even today their leader is a "Sir".

"honest competent politicians."?? Do they exist in any country? Probably, but not when they are in the position of running a country. Obviously I cannot comment on any other country, But in my lifetime in the UK, I cannot remember any PM who was honest and competent, though maybe some more competent than others.

If it is not a dot or full stop that is aggressive, then what is? Two or more question marks maybe? But again, being aggressive is not always a question.

He was probably educated at a Military Academy the same as the unelected suspended PM he is deputising for. It is therefor hard to imagine economy being a Military Academy subject.

Very true, but what if the person who causes the accident to you has no insurance. Do you just have to accept it and that's that?

"we are seen as a cash cow if we are in an accident." That is one of the reasons I only keep enough money in Thailand for living expenses. They cannot force you to sell your house as it is not in your name. In other words, no one can get what you haven't got.

When you read the Thai news either here on AN/TV, or anywhere else, why is it there are always reports about people being killed and seriously injured on the roads, but rarely if ever, do you read of some underage kid, who was killed while riding a motorbike. That must happen very often here in Thailand every day.

What happens when a driver or rider is involved in an accident with you, a farang, and is either underage, unlicenced, uninsured, and is 100% to blame, and causes you very serious health or financial damage? Is it just a case of "sorry, the person who caused to all this grief, and serious financial damage has no insurance and unable to compensate you in any way, bye bye?

If the biggest majority of people started to look after their health. no smoking, moderate alcohol. moderate sugar intake. exercise regularly, etc, etc, what would that do to the bigwigs in the medical professions offshore bank accounts?

Don't forget that the UK contributed to that as well.

That's what happens when you have a Banana Republic run by soldiers with no more mentality than a person with the low Thai IQ.

I think there is more to this than what you are saying, though it does look like there is some sort of corruption involved. Did the person you know want to enter by visa exempt? From a certain country, or some sort of tourist visa? I have made many entrances into Thailand in the last 20 years, and never as much as even asked a question.

What does FTFY mean? Nothing wrong with initials for the usual things, but some of these initials are very annoying, just being made up by the poster.

Quite a lot, I have to take time to find the English. to get my English langauge back I press a little sort of star which is on the top half of the right hand side.

Edge is a problem for me, I keep having to reset the English language every so often and it is a hassle as it keeps changing back to Thai. I only use Edge for the open navigation menu.

Why should you let your local Immigration office know where you are staying if you have not changed your address?
