That's the one, or it reports "waiting for seller to drop off".

Over the last few months, I've had a number of items that followed this scenario: - Item I want is "local supply" and has a decently short delivery time. Order placed and paid with credit card (as previously noted we can't do COD) Item quickly goes to "Packed" - At this point it cannot be cancelled. EDIT At this point a courier tracking number appears. Item remains at Packed past the original delivery date and then some. Finally, Lazada cancels the order, initiates a refund and sends an apologetic email. Most annoying, particularly when you need the item urgently. Just me, or are others seeing this trend?

What's your water source? Do you have a holding tank and pump? We have an incoming "crunchy bits" filter that keeps the grit out of the holding tank (we have a decent mains water supply). Drinking water goes through an RO + UV unit, the rest of the house just uses water from the tank. Something like this https://globalhouse.co.th/product/detail/2011172029956 The RO unit does make the water taste a bit better but I still clean my teeth in the water from the tank, I've not grown an extra arm yet.

Yeah, ours is a proper khlong not a drain, it always has water which does actually flow (sometimes). It's also tidal with the river (not always a good thing). I doubt the locals even know we have two septics discharging into it, I know where the pipes are and I can never actually see them.

Solar Pump. What will happen in this case?
Crossy replied to MJCM's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
I would use a weight or spring to bias the blind open, no need for a second motor ???? -
The locals catch some pretty big fish in there

We've been in our place since 2011, been flooded a couple of times and never had the tanks pumped. Note that we don't have a drain field, the "treated" effluent flows into a convenient khlong. As always YMMV.

Yeah, I thought I had been in the food-chain somewhere ???? My brain became full some time back, we now have a stack-overflow situation ????

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Carl has got a pukka (or at least Chinese pukka) ATS which has the relevant mechanical interlocks and definite break-before-make architecture rather than a DIY Heath-Robinson beast.

We've only done two extensions at Pathum. Did a TM30 when we changed address, another on the first extension and another on the second (last year). We shall see if they want another this year. It's not exactly onerous as all the necessary info is part of the regular paperwork anyway. The lads who do the home visit are very professional. No issues with them at all although them turning up in their (very) marked BMW the first year did cause a bit of a stir in the village ????

This RCBO should fit your CU https://www.lazada.co.th/products/schneider-breaker-qo250c10rcbo30-2p-50a-square-d-rcbo-i838422473-s1710156402.html You will need a local sparks to install it as it either needs to be done live or you need to pull the supply at the meter, neither of which is really a DIY job.

You need an Omron H3Y timer, 12V, 60 second (or whatever range fits with the delay you want). https://www.lazada.co.th/products/1pcs-h3y-4-dc-12v-delay-timer-time-relay-switch-0-60-minuteseconds-adjustable-5a-with-base-socket-rotary-knob-dpdt-i4421023836-s17670357090.html? Other sources may be cheaper, or your local electrical emporium may have something suitable.

Which genset controller do you have? Omron make some simple timers that can be configured to do what you need. I'll find part numbers when I get home. What's the DC voltage at your controller, 12V? If you could post a sketch diagram of what you have now that would be handy.
-
You are thinking of an RCD or RCBO, readily available from the big DIY places or Lazada. If you post a photo of the CU we can suggest a way forwards. BUT These will (probably) stop you from dying, they won't stop you from getting anything from a tingle to a pretty noticeable shock from your appliances, particularly if they have a bunch of electronics or are "inverter" type. Since you are renting and the landlord isn't going to spend $$$ you probably want to get a couple of the 1m long earth rods and some cable from the same place as your RCBO and earth your Class-1 appliances. You can even get 3 pin to 2 pin adaptors with a tag to install your earth connection.

Sounds like a waterlogged pressure tank ???? Usually an easy fix ???? Can you post a photo of your pump with the plastic cover off (if it has one) and someone will be along with simple instructions.

Sorry, but since gambling is illegal in Thailand and the forum rules prohibit discussion of illegal acts, I'm going to have to close this thread,

Now heavy rain across middle Thailand and into Myanmar
Crossy replied to steven100's topic in General Topics
Yeah, driving into BKK this morning the roads are still wet and decidedly slippy due to no rain for a while. Amazingly I only saw one car in the ditch. Take care out on the roads people! -

I do note that you possibly have L and N (colours) connected differently on each side. -

And of course, it's always possible it's busted from new ???? -

Yeah, that's what I thought, but then I read on one of the pages for similar switches "this switch can not be used for generator starting" ????
