Mel Brookes' "Young Frankenstein" with Marty Feldman as Igor is excellent too ????

Does this look like gorilla glue or is it fake?

But do not use it to replace hair-gel ... -
It's actually a line from one of the many "Frankenstein" movies (probably a Hammer production) when the Baron's monster is brought to life!! ???? Igor is the baron's faithful assistant.

Local high at Pak Kret. Doesn't look too bad, but will be monitoring carefully after Puyai Baan's announcement which I suspect was about this:-

Extensive flooding in Thailand’s northern and north-eastern provinces
Crossy replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Indeed, but a fair chunk of it will be heading towards BKK where we are already battling rising river levels ???? -
We'll be fine thanks. But I think more permanent defences will be on the cards next spring. Possibly an earth berm around the house with a sump for the pump.

The wall is more like a colander below the concrete beam, it's concrete planks but they've shifted over the years ????

According to Madam, puyai-baan has been on the speakers informing us that more water has been released upstream. This is definitely not good ???? And sandbag activity on the road, unfortunately we are on the wrong side of the bags ????

Sadly no, there's no mechanism in place to pay the duty on over-limit alcohol or tobacco. You could risk it in the green channel but the penalties for getting caught smuggling are actually quite punitive ???? Could be a reason to give up (I'll say it before anyone else does).

How about a solar car port on a budget?

Local LOW at Pak Kret today, not as low as yesterday ???? Hopefully we won't get a repeat of yesterday's downpour this afternoon. After yesterday's garden inundation our entire population of earth-worms took refuge on the concrete path which was still dry, at which point our chooks ate them ...

Many Areas Of Bangkok Flooded After Torrential Rain
Crossy replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
I made my escape from the BTS Admin building at about 3PM. No flooding at the time but the heavy rain was just getting going. The rain lashed as far north as Rangsit for a long time leading to localised flooding around the market (which was already somewhat damp from khlong Rangsit anyway). Of course all this extra water hasn't helped with the river flow rate meaning our garden is under water, we really don't need another similar day ????- 39 replies

I was rather surprised there was no DHL paperwork at all with the beast, it would have been nice to know what the revised customs value was, but I'm not about to poke any hornet's nests. I did ask about sending the dead one back. The response wasn't a direct "no" but "shipping is very expensive and we have no way of recycling it" which in my mind is pretty close to a "no". I shall do nothing** until they actually ask for it back. ** Apart from search on the web and the various user groups to see if anyone has actually de-bricked a Sofar unit after a failed firmware update

Pak Kret water report seems to have gone off-line ????
-
Nothing useful to be gleaned from the (no) paperwork left with Madam, but nothing to pay at this end. Whether Sofar picked up any charges is unknown. It's definitely a new inverter with all the necessary accessories, nothing added, nothing taken away. EDIT Actually it didn't have the WiFi dongle but works just fine with the existing one.

Local high at Pak Kret ???? Garden is somewhat damp, I think I'd class this as "Somewhat Alarmed" level:-

No dicey cops (ok there was customs involved), and you need at least one ladyboy, a midget and possibly a ghost or two for a proper Thai soap.
