A friend i had in Thailand told a similar story, a few years ago, his Mrs told him much the same story as yours except it was another guy she'd been chatting too on the internet promising her all sorts ..they left for the UK, he wrote to tell me she'd left him, and i never heard more from him

    Myself and a few other neighbourhood Farangs volunteered to paint the wall surrounding the village where we live,.. a Thai woman asked a member of our committee why Farang are doing it, and not Thai, she thought we were being paid,... when she was told no payment was being made and the committee said thais were too lazy she left

    AThai woman in her 30's that i used to know told me a Thai man who used to live in her room still had a key, he let himself in one night, and had sex with her,.... she said she tried to fight him off but couldnt... she said she reported it to the police who told her to change the lock!!!!1 nothing more was done

    while the police set very bad examples the people will follow , stop talking about this because its never going to change there is no experienced driver training in thailand, nobody knows any thing about highway code rules including police so how do u expect them to stop

    The colour test needs to be replaced as the Red dot has turned Pink due to being so old, When the lady points to it Farangs answer Pink, then she shouts, NO, ITS RED ....LOL

    My Thai sister inlaw, lives in a village in Issan , she is a Thai registered nurse, she has now opened her own clinic, and dishes out medications daily from which she brags a good income, giving my wife antibiotics to fight Covid !!, & handfuls of pills for the common cold

    I have a UK Nationwide bank account.. which i had to have a UK address to open, having opened the account, i asked what happens if i move to Thailand, they replied it would not be a problem, my replacement Debit card can be sent to a Thai address..
