  1. I'd go with this approach too. Stick to your guns... force them to either deliver as advertised or cancel the order themselves.
  2. WikiHow also has some tops on how to deter geckos...
  3. HomePro have a product with good reviews that is supposedly safe for children and pets...
  4. A couple of reported off-topic posts have been removed.
  5. Reuters ran a fact check on that story... unfortunately I cannot quote from it due to copyright reasons, but you can read it here.
  6. I have no axe to grind in this discussion... I am merely promoting a piece of capable software that I know and trust. And, according to Wikipedia, VLC has been around as a free and open-source, portable, cross-platform media player since 1996. Anyway... from the article you referenced: "Again, there is no perfect video player out there that works for everyone. Like music players, everyone has their favorite video player and you guys are probably pretty loyal to yours. It’s mostly personal preference, so if you have a player you think is best, let us know why in the comments (without putting down other people’s choices)." The OP had a problem with his VLC on a Win10 platform, and most of the replies in this thread have tried to help him, rather than redirect him to either other operating systems or media players.
  7. There are several video addons for Kodi that stream live sports... but I cannot comment about their legality. See here. Most will require the use of a VPN.
  8. I too have a TP-Link Deco M9 Plus mesh wifi system. It is coupled to a TOT supplied ZTE fiber optic router, so coupling a mesh wifi system to an AIS fiber router should not be a problem. It works perfectly across all hubs, and as each port also has 2 x gigabit ethernet ports I can also hard wire my Android boxes to them for streaming purposes. A mesh wifi seems to be a clever alternative to a house-wide hard-wired network solution. Specifications can be found here.
  9. I too have been using VLC player for years with never an issue. I also agree with the notion of using tried and true software rather than experimenting with new products... let someone else be the guinea pig!
  10. Either the presenter is a very short Thai man or the handlebars on those machines is very high...
  11. I agree... Topic moved to the Organic Farming, Smallholding and Kitchen Gardening Forum where I hope you will get more responses to your query. /Moved.
  12. Glad to see a happy ending to this thread (this year)... it was touch and go there for a while...
  13. I just started watching season 1 of The Mosquito Coast, an adventure drama starring Justin Theroux and Melissa George. Very entertaining so far, and season 2 has just started screening too.
  14. What about your grey water tanks guys? Do you have a contingency plan for them too? If they get inundated won't your floor drains inside the house overflow as well? Just asking. because it happened to us about 7 years ago.
