  8. Hi. Last year or the year before there used to be a dedicated bitcoin link/ thread for all posts. Has this been removed now. I cannot find it. Is it all lumped under 'jobs, economy and banking' now? thanks
  9. More than 10 yrs ago I visited a language school with a friend of mine from the Uk. The owner was an intense pr%ck. He was going on about the massage shop next door is a brothel. Complaining about all sorts of things like I give a toss. So I got back to my room and wrote about it on a forum. The next day the guy replied on that forum and threatened me blah blah. He even said 'this is defamation'. Nothing happened of course but it was my first lesson in the land of smiles to be careful what I write...
  10. There should be age limits on old men applying for the highest position in U.S office. MAGA voters are to blame for all this BS
  11. His name is mud now and Im sure he will never come back to the land of smiles. So be it. Its a wake up for us all. The thai press will put ones ugly face in the press if you play up. We should all behave ourselves. One chance with the reputation only
  12. B.S. Have you ever heard of getting permanent residence and/or citizenship. The latter is easier documents wise. Im in the program and will have it in a few yrs. Tons of farang have it.
  13. The geriatric old president is playing more games. Another 3 to 4 years of this B.S. It all could have been different now if his head was just 1 inch to the left
  14. he didnt say that he creamed pie them all thankfully. We dont want hundreds of versions of him running around
  15. I sometimes give food and small change to a homeless person near where I live. Ive noticed he has some health issues and needs to see a dr. I know that anyone working for a thai govt dept or a private business can join the govts social sec system and nominate a hospital etc and get access to medical treatment. What about homeless people or people who are self employed. Can they register at a local hospital if they have a Thai id card? Is there a welfare department in each city/town to help any homeless people? I want to help this guy. thanks
  16. duh. There were many scratches all around the car. So the spray is really only for the top and some other areas not included in the claim.
  17. I carried one on the plane from Germany to bkk. no issues. Just dont put it in the big bag under the plane.
  18. Thanks for the advice. Actually Im paying an extra 20k to spray the whole car. I want it all new white. I told them a few weeks ago that it must be all the same color. I think I better ask the wife to write another reminder message about this.
  19. Ive owned a higher end car for around 4 years now and recently was rear ended by a pickup. Insurance is paying for everything. Ive been taking it to the same dealership for oil changes etc where I actually purchased the car. Ive always found the young thai guy there a bit assertive/ aggressive. He reminds me of a Phuket taxi driver personality. When I dropped off the car and asked a question he raised his voice at me very loud asking me 'why are you asking that question'. He forgot that we discussed the issue last week in Line. I raised my voice back at him as loud and he backed down So he has sent my car to a subcontractor in the same city because the dealership cant do the work. I asked the other day if I can go there and have a quick look at the progress. No he said, cant do that. Have to wait for it to come back. Im sure its just a normal smash repairs where anyone can take their car. Can I assume that I dont have to be worried about that smash repair shop taking apart the engine and other parts and swapping it for other parts? Surely that would not happen right? At the end of the day the dealership is accountable. An insurance company is involved. Therefore one would hope that no dodgy things are going to happen to my car. If you have ever had your car in a smash repairs shop in Thailand please make a comment. thanks
  20. so stupid its beyond belief. its not a dog. wtf
  21. go to a tourist destination ie pattaya. visit one of the branches. apply for a credit card on the basis of leaving a fixed deposit securing the card. I dont know how successful it would be if you dont have a work permit. If you have a WP then no problem try KTC part of Ktb
