Just to update the location, though I am sure it has been mentioned in other threads. No longer at Avenue Mall but is now at Central Festival mall at the Beach Road end. I think it is on floor 4, if memory serves me correctly.

The market will correct itself as it does with bars, massage shops, coffee shops and restaurants. The best survive, the rest die away, sometimes slowly. Large chains seem to be in play and they will be hard to shift. The low season should thin out smaller sellers but every week I see more not less. I think an MFP Government will leave the topic alone; it doesn't show on their list of priorities. If the old guard somehow retain power they will need help from Anutin's BJT, as they do now, so they will turn a blind eye too.

Not always fireworks... Drone Light Show in Jomtien
champers replied to Mickeymaus's topic in Pattaya
Went last night. Sat on the beach for an hour and a half with a beer and saw 2 shows totalling about 15 minutes. It was OK but not breathtaking. As it was Sunday, it was easy getting there and back on a Baht bus. I would expect it will get better in future years as the technology advances. -

Mission Impossible - Dead reckoning - Official trailer

Tom Cruise is all CGI. He has been living in a nursing home in Florida for the last 5 years. -
I am heartened by the US Ambassador saying he is looking forward to seeing the official results. That, to me, is code for " EC get a shift on and no monkey business whilst you're at it". It's a message for the military men. No Thai Govt wants to be a US vassall but hacking off an ally and big investor and donor by using dubious methods against the will of the people is a no-no.

Move Forward Announces Six-Party Coalition Govt
champers replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News Headlines
I think Pheu Thai will be trying hard to persuade MFP to bring Anutin's Bumjaithai into the coalition. Doing this will negate the need for Senate approval. It is the better of 2 unattractive options. In a year the unelected, hand-picked Senate will be no more anyway. This is politics: give and take, park some principles for now. It is all about gradual evolution and not instant revolution. More people voted for parties other than MFP than voted for MFP. They do not have a mandate from the whole of the electorate and not even a majority of the electorate for them alone. I wish MFP well and hope they will prevail over time. -
MFP predicted to form coalition government with Pheu Thai
champers replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News Headlines
If Anutin's party joined up with their 70 seats then the Senate is rendered irrelevant. However, there seems to be a reluctance to have them on board because they propped up the previous government. Is it doable? -

Thai woman murdered in Chiang Mai condo, farang husband missing

Might be an idea to change the thread title now it isn't murder. -
My post was for the OP as well as you. North Pattaya bus station is only round the corner from Sukhumvit.
-
The bus from Pattaya North goes straight onto the motorway, but I do recall it occasionally exiting and stopping at Chonburi bus station. Ask at Pattaya North ticket office. Coming back, many times, especially later in the evening, the bus from Ekkamai goes into Chonburi and stops as requested at various places on Sukhumvit Rd between Chonburi and Pattaya, though not Chonburi bus station itself because a bus can be had from Bangkok Ekkamai to Chonburi.

Shoretire scored in Bolton's last match at Bristol Rovers and reportedly had a good game. He has been a bit underwhelming but he has undoubted talent; just a bit of inexperience and needs to get stronger physically. -

I wouldn't find it amusing if he was captain of my team, let alone in it. -
It could all fall apart after the election/coup. Interesting that Pattaya has more dope shops (390) than Amsterdam has "coffee " shops (about 180).

I was comparing the character of the two men. One has it, one doesn't. Do you think Fergie would have allowed Harry to remain as captain after turning up in court in a t-shirt, shorts and a baseball cap? OGS did.
