  7. AI incoming. A bit like here, one may say.

  9. I am going to give the Championship (2nd tier) a go this season with Pattaya Dolphins United. They just missed the play-offs to the top flight last season so could be an interesting watch. I quite like the idea of watching the game with a pint in hand. Admission is less than a UK fiver for a seat in the grandstand. A google search has their first game on August 10th.
  10. I didn't pick up on the Last Supper theme at the time; I must be a bit slow on the uptake. Easily, the highlight was Celine Dion. I've never really taken to her before but that performance was truly iconic.

    Cheese

Excellent for toasted cheese/cheese on toast or cold on sandwiches, all with a good twist of fresh ground black pepper. I find them very tasty too.

    Cheese

Villa Market sell both in Pattaya plus Wensleydale. All are what I call semi-crumbly but certainly tasty.
  13. Is Bob in prison after his recent jolly boys weekend?
  14. ... and a test bench.
  15. Try Robin Hood Tavern at Avenue Mall. It's pricier than most other places but quality food makes it value for money. The Build Your Own breakfast menu gives you a great breadth of choice. Owned by a Brit and managed by a Belgian. The Sportsman accross 2nd Rd on Soi 13 is popular and The Swan on Soi 13/1 is one of my cheaper favourites if RHT is a bit too much to pay.
  16. Pattaya 103FM reporting that the duo were deported to Myanmar for overstay. Strange.
  17. ... and Dr Feelgood.
  18. 1 & 2 were educated guesses. Should I pack a bag?
  19. I was in Vientiane for a visa run in Jan 17, don't recall seeing you. Were you in the pub watching Everton beat Man City 4-0?
  20. A bit easier this week. Q1. C Q2. C Q3. D. London Docklands (Becton Gas Works?) stood in for Da Nang. Palm trees from Malaysia were rejected and ones from Hong Kong were used instead. Bobby Moore hoisted a major international trophy for England. It was his 3rd trophy lifted at Wembley in little over 2 years (2 for WHU).
  21. In Da Nang there is a lot of land available for developers to build condos, hotels and housing, but no or very little take up. Issuing retirement visas could alter this situation so is being considered. On the other hand, there is a fear that they could be swamped by certain nationalities à la Cambodia.
  22. Turkey, Scotland and Switzerland would be out as well if that were the case.
  23. Dani Olmo is playing for Spain; he's scored 3 goals too - same as Kane.
