Do you believe in Tradition and why
Myran replied to GammaGlobulin's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Nonsensical and pointless topic. What is "tradition" and what does it mean to believe in it? Might as well ask, "Do you believe in existance?" -
Thai transfers 56,000 baht - but still doesn't get "sideline girl"
Myran replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Something about a fool and his money comes to mind. -
Doesn't matter if the article states it, the headline should accurately reflect what has happened. "16-year-old teen" is completely redundant, as all 16-year-olds are teens. Him escaping a fire is, however, not redundant. "Thai-British teen flees house fire by leaping off second floor balcony" would've been the correct headline.

"16-year-old Thai-British teen flees house by leaping off second floor balcony" You can probably mention in the headline that the place was on fire. Kind of important point (far more important than his exact age, in fact).

Bow your head slightly when walking up that part of the stairs. It takes zero effort and will become second nature within a month.

Brit 'dumped' in Thailand after his flight home is cancelled
Myran replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
"This just in: Brit is 'being starved to death' by Pizza Hut after restaurant cancels his order." -
No, it's not. It takes quite a bit to be qualified as a theory, and the flat Earth idea is nowhere close.

Not my experience (and others I know of). You're still in Thailand based on the Non-O entry and should therefore be able to do the 1 year extension after the 2 month extension without having to apply for a new visa. At least that's my personal experience, and I know of other people who have used the 2 month extension as a way to get all the required paperwork in order for the 1-year. Of course, it might be different at diffent immigration offices.

Another one for the list: "Do you emulate 16-year-old girls by constantly seeking attention online through pointing out how you aren't like everyone else?"

Jebus Christ, what an absolutely ridiculous and downright laughable topic. Yes, I bet the "news" that some inks might be dangerous (which has been know for a few decades by now) will end the 5000 year old "fad" that is tattoos. You're just like the people who take very chance they get to loudly proclaim that they would never deign to eat at McDonald's. Good for you, you're extremely special and a step above everyone else.

There are false and deceitful people everywhere. I've received so much unsolicited help from Thai people who have refused any sort of compensation in return throughout the years, that I'd say that the smiles are not fake. But that's just my personal experience.
