  1. There are no more fees to pay. When you return, you just hand over your passport over to the appropriate officer and sit and wait for them to stamp you passport. Sometimes they may still be waiting for confirmation that your extension has been granted and you will have to return in a couple of days.
  2. Woman C must be one of those unscrupulous taxi drivers who picks up naive tourists from the airport and takes them on a long winded tour when in reality, their hotel is only a kilometer away.
  3. Or alternatively, the kids were messing around with the fireworks unsupervised.
  4. Where was this vehicle parked? On his back seat?
  5. By choking on a bar girl's G-string.
  6. Has anyone ever bothered to tell the owners of the thousands of second hand tyre and wheel shops that are everywhere in Thailand that the safe life of a tyre here is four years? Thought not...
  7. Come on guys, you know you want to! Apparently he comes with a free suit of armor to be worn at all times!
  8. There is a smart car in the photo of the police arresting the Brit tourist in the original article.
  9. Those BMW smart cars are becoming too damn clever. It appears they can now locate overstayers when they are just walking down some random road minding their own business!
  10. I can't speak for your particular immigration office, but there should be no need for an appointment for your second visit. All you have to do is hand your passport over to the appropriate officer and sit and wait. From my experience this can be anything from 10 minutes to an hour max. My local immigration office always recommends that you go in the afternoon to collect your stamp as sometimes the permission may still not have been granted in the morning.
  11. Or in other words, there is too much paperwork and not enough financial incentive involved to prosecute him.
  12. Have you actually met any of them? Or are you just one of those people who just takes to the internet to have a pop at people more successful than yourself?
  13. Pumped full of water? Or something worse?
  14. I'd like to see you roast a chicken in a rice cooker.
  15. I'm not, but then I'm not a snowflake either.

  17. He might be right...
  18. I must admit that I'm waiting with baited breath for the cool season the start up north, near Chiang Mai. No sign of it so far. The sun is still baking hot at 8am when I go for my morning walk. It's still 22°C plus at first light.
  19. Presuming that he has vehicle insurance, there should be some third party cover particularly if is number one. So I would start with that before you start going after compensation. If he has it, make sure the insurance company has been contacted so they can start the process of paying out.
  20. Nevermind, if anyone hits and dies it will just be classified as sewer-side...
  21. Thai people don't stop at zebra crossings. So therefore any person crossing the road has to one hundred percent aware of this and be fully focused on what is going on around them until they reached the relative safety of the other side of the road. You should never, ever rely upon others for your own safety when crossing the road!!!!!
  22. The Christmas tree in Trafalgar square, at night obviously. And don't forget proper British fish and chips. My wife adored it when she was there.
  23. Big C normally stock trees, lights and decorations.
  24. Maybe it's because Thais believe they can speak better English than native English speakers? In many cases they are brought up to believe that they are perfect in every way. And woe betide anyone who dares to correct or criticize their English skills, particularly an actual native English speaker!
