Love is ultimately about putting someone's else's happiness before your own. Many people aren't selfless enough to do that. And they get very confused with the huge difference between love and lust.

I don't really need lots people in my life. And I must admit I do like my own personal space. I have always been more than comfortable within my own thoughts which is just as well as I spend an awful lot of time with my Thai inlaws who I can't really talk to.

I couldn't agree more. The best advice to anyone who drives here is to always back off, drive defensively and don't use your horn! It is never worth the hassle of getting involved with the local drivers for no apparent reason.

I doubt this will ever happen within Thai society particularly with the less affluent. As soon most new baby girls are born here their parents are planning ahead for their daughter's big day and their potential windfall.
