No, at least I don't think so! I'm not very tech savvy... -

My Android phone did a routine security scan this morning and has declared that the Bangkok Bank app is now a risky item. It is saying that apparently it has been linked to a high risk trojan. I was advised to uninstall it or add it to the isolation box. So I logged out of the app, uninstalled it and then out of curiosity re-installed it and then, without logging in ran the security scan again. The same result, a malicious threat! So far there has been no suspicious activity within my Bangkok bank account. My phone is not saying it is infected, just that the Bangkok Bank app is now a high risk item. Now I have done a couple of full virus scans on my phone and nothing else untoward has been found. My phone is about two years old and runs a fully updated version of Android 11. Any constructive thoughts will be appreciated.

If you like endless red tape. Have loads of excess cash to burn. Have plenty of free time on your hands in case of lockdowns. Are not interested in drinking in bars or restaurants. And your favorite pastime is sticking cotton buds up your nose then it is probably worth it...

Netflix and 3bb / how do I download the Netflix app?
Dmaxdan replied to cruzin4me's topic in Audio Visual AV
I'm presuming that this new interface you are seeing is from a 3bb android box that the tech guy supplied, and not the actual TV? I have the 3bb box and the Netflix app is not available to download for some reason although everything else appears to be available. So if I want to watch Netflix I turn off, or unplug the 3bb box and use the Netflix app on the actual TV. -
Lazada does has a very efficient return policy. Normally you have a period of 7-14 days after delivery to do this. One of the many reasons for the return of your order is suspected fake items. If you have a problem with your purchase you just go to your order, click on return/refund and follow the very simple instructions. You don't even need to pay for the return delivery, a courier will come to your address within a couple of days, print a label and take your package. Once the return procedure is triggered, the seller has 7 days to respond. If they don't then Lazada themselves should reimburse you your money. In my opinion, it is a waste of time contacting customer service, messaging the seller or writing poor reviews. If you have a legitimate reason to be unsatisfied with your order, use their return policy. It is what it is there for.

I'm still extremely irritated that the school our 6 year old grandson goes to have told us that he cannot attend classes if he is not vaccinated. So much for parental consent... -

Clearly these fraudsters are now bored of throwing themselves in front of cars in an attempt to get an insurance payout. -
Do you ever feel really accepted as an expat in Thailand?
Dmaxdan replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Do I feel accepted? From a bureaucratic point of view? No, absolutely not. Within the village I live in? Yes, I'm very much part of the furniture.- 184 replies

What a sad state of affairs. I hope she gets the help she clearly needs. -
From the title, I thought this thread was going to be about whether you can drink a lot of alcohol and not get drunk.

The situation is what it is. There is no point in worrying about something we have zero control over. All anyone can do is get vaccinated, get your booster jabs when available, follow all the precautions that are put in place and keep your guard up.

I always know whether orders that I have personally made are due for delivery simply because I follow the tracking updates on my phone. If I pay COD I normally have to correct money put aside well in advance. If a courier called when I had no outstanding orders I would just reject it even if no payment was due.
