Be very careful spraying mdf and particle board furniture. It absorbs moisture and swells, ruining the finish. Same with swabbing down floors.

I am sorry if this seems cynical, OP, but you have made yourself a cash cow for the medical profession and big pharma: their best interests are that you stay alive but sick for as long as possible, while they bleed your wallet dry...or until it is empty. You are not alone in this. No one these days is prepared to manage their own "disease", it is the perception that the doctors have a pill for everything, including your own mental weaknesses, and is their responsibility - not yours. If you have a problem caused by alcohol consumption - stop drinking! If you are obese: stop eating rubbish, and too much. If you have type2 diabetes: it is 100% curable by altering your lifestyle. All it takes is self-discipline. No doctors or drugs involved. You have a choice: live, or die. Which you do, how much you suffer in the process, etc., is entirely up to you. The doctors will only do that which they are programmed to do. Good luck with your choices. -
One of the better aspects of living on a retirement pension here in land of scams, is the utter impossibility of running up a huge credit card bill or loan. Stay solvent, die, or leave! Unless of course you are completely invisible, stupid, insane, drunk, dishonest or corrupt.......................... ????

Reading this thread, Shakespeares' "Merchant of Venice" springs to mind. Pound of flesh and all that. -
Receiving mail / post from UK / Europe to BKK Thailand
Grusa replied to Gee Bangkok's topic in General Topics
I have just had experience with registered air mail to and from the Royal Thai Embassy in London. The outward letter was delivered signed for in 4 days! The return letter is a different story! The letter arrived at Heathrow in less than 12 hours from posting, and was despatched by air within 24. 6 Days later! it arrived at Laksi, cleard customs within one hour, and here the mystery deepens, because the tracking story has been changed post factum. Originally the tracking showed it arriving at Sri Racha, where it stayed for more fhan a week without moving. Eventually I sent to the local Post Office, which is conveniently next door, and queried this. The staff were very helpful, took my phone number and told me they would let me know.....naturally I had no great expectations! Within an hour I got a call telling me it was there, please collect it with my id. This I did, no explanation was offered. Since collecting it, the tracking story has been changed:- it now shows despatched, then incorrectly addressed returned to sender, then arrived at delivery office, then delivered....on the day I collected it. Someone cocked up and someone is telling porkies! But at least I got it, in 15 days. I have no idea what would have happened had I left it longer to chase it! -

Interesting concept here, how do you gain experience at being prime minister, other than being one? Can you buy a simulator? There used to be a computer game (maybe there still is) called SimCity which might qualify? -
Thailand has never been colonised. (?) Maybe now is the time.
