  1. If you are going to use multiple coats, they should be applied within quite a short time of each other... how long should be specified on the tin. Leaving it too long, they will not bond, and will peel.
  2. Google translate:- I live a beautiful life here. The working environment is not livable and the benefits are lacking. But don't worry, only about one person gets seriously injured every day, and I'm careful. We opened a small shop, and the business is doing well. Although I don't know much English, I can understand a little bit what those white people said. I hope you can succeed! I will work hard this time, if you are all right? I miss you very much and hope we can meet again.
  3. Termites are not the worst enemy of Ikea fitted furniture. Maids and bug-killing companies are! They will flood the floor and skirtings etc., causing the mdf to swell. Make sure to seal all edges and joints with foil tape. Ensure units are not mounted so no wood touches the floor.... if it does, seal with mastic. Properly done, it will last the warranty period. Done "thai style" it won't. There are people around who are expert at modifying and fitting this stuff, but they can't advertise!
  4. As the weight limit for cabin baggage is 7 kilos (555) and the size limit is quite small, I am amazed at what people in general, and Thais in particular, think what they candidates and mostly do get away with.
  5. 2 rashers of crispy bacon, one section of pomelo, and a cappucino.
  6. Agree. Also Healthland:- expensive......unless you buy a book of 10 tickets. Then its 500 fot two hours, in a private room. No HE.
  7. I have no doubt the police "Department of Legal Execution" will deal with him.
  8. You have insufficient data to complete the order. You need your½pd's, which are specific to you, and your OC heights, which are specific to the combination of you and the particular frame. Inattention to these details will be an expensive disaster.... and don't expect any local supplier to have the knowledge.
  9. How much traffic disruption can I expect around Don Muang tomorrow? I am going there from Pattaya, to catch a 15:15 flight!
  10. Dig a big big hole and fill it with water. Then you can fish, breed prawns, or run around on your jet ski, yacht, whatever.
  11. Not Jomtien, but close, try this guy. Very helpful, good workers. https://maps.app.goo.gl/cPaJDNSbgyGr53uv8
  12. I doubt that the ten people left over constitute a viable police farce.
  13. So are babies, just saying. And btw, ingredients.

  15. ????How dare you! Mine are created by rodents, not robots!????
  16. Actually it does. A few years ago, SWMBO and I were returning by bus from Ekkamai, with luggage. We negotiated a ride home from the Nua bus station to the darkside, 100baht, which I thought was pretty fair. The driver did not lrave immediately, he waited until he had a full load, and then proceeded to Jomtien Beach Road via the hill, dropping people off at various points on the way. When we were the only passengers left, he turned up Soi Wat Boon, and stopped on a piece of waste ground (it was not so built up in those days). He climbed out and demanded another 200baht to take us to our home in Nongkabok. This after the best part of an hour farting about in Jomtien! We got out and walked with our cases to the nearest bar, after informing him I only wanted a ride, not to buy his f.....g taxi, and would pay him nothing unless he fulfilled the contract. Probably fortunately he did not speak or understand enough English that it mattered! I took a motorbike taxi home, for 100baht, and went back with the car to collect SWMBO etc. With a foul temper!
  17. Is this is the cretin who thought keeping a leopard in his garden in a residential area was a good idea? https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Architect_Mario_Kleff_with_his_male_leopard_Typhoon.jpg
  18. I was stopped in a queue at traffic lights, behind a taxi, with another alongside it. I thought it odd that the one in front had yellow paint on top of the black number. The one alongside had the black number clearly painted/printed on top of the yellow. I soon realised that the guy in front had normal black on white plates, badly overpainted to look like taxi yellow ones. Both taxis had yellow/red liveries, both Chonburi plates. I wonder just how many of these liveried taxis are actually genuine and properly licensed, insured, etc.
  19. Regardless of assigning fault, before surgery you sign a waiver indemnifying the hospital and its staff, down to the tea lady, against any claims. Otherwise, they won't operate!
  20. Sex in that suit is impossible!

    Pizza in Jomtien

Still there, went yesterday. Just as good as ever, pity about the parking, though, it's become very busy thereabouts.
