So ! How can this " Expert " base a statement on facts that are not known ??? Nobody knows what is brewing within the Boundaries of China, as they have gone to great lengths to remain Isolated and not exactly be straight with the truth. As well as not suppling the WHO with all the Date needed to assess the risk of Chinese people travelling. This Data being only right for the Governments around the Globe to know and make concise judgements bases upon those facts. Not the waffles of this Man that has demonstrated over the last few Years that he really needs to take a permanent Holiday.

It makes sense to me that the " Legal Entity " IE Juristic Committee, would legally need some kind of Public Liability Insurance to cover themselves for any Incident to Third Parties, and any Damage to the Building. However, where their commitment, and boundaries stop, and yours begin, needs some kind of very clear and distinct definitions. As does the Policy they should hold, regarding their exact liabilities in respect of Third Party losses ( IE - yours ) should you suffer loss from something that is within their Jurisdiction. Any Policy taken out by you can, and will, only Insure your Property ( that which is on the Chanot ), and will not cover damage from another Party. Whether that be from another Unit or Property belonging to the Management Committee Sounds like a Minefield to me.

Of course the entry rules fall way shorter than many other Countries. Thailand has been / is , so desperate to seen the Chinese arrive back that they are virtually free to walk right in. However, a façade of " doing the right thing " has to be seen across the Globe to prevent other Nations placing restrictions upon Thai Tourism once the Chinese have alighted their modes of Transport within the Country. Will it be enough ? Time will tell on that one

Future Chinese Tourists may well be travelling around the Globe with a newer, more virulent Covid strain never seen outside the Country, which makes it very dangerous indeed. And because of the self isolation the Nation placed themselves in over Covid, nobody knows ! This is the main reason the WHO are requesting information and correct data from the Chinese, and any Country that allows in these Chinese Tourists before all the Data is correlated and correct and proper advice been issued World wide is really playing a very dangerous game of Russian Roulette with not just their peoples health, but their Economies as well. Governments Globally will not wish to get burned a second time by these Tourists.

Its not about you Its about the amount of work the Recruitment Consultant / Company has to do on every application for Employment. They may be receiving several hundred applications for a certain position, so have to sift through all the Applicants and designate their suitability. All the non starters go to file 13, then some probable's, then the likely and so on until maybe 5 are considered worth interview, All this takes time and resources, and to reply to each and every candidate is really a non starter. Land that is prone to flooding is a nightmare. Not only do you have to raise the Land level, or live on a stilted platform structure, you have the issue of access and travel Etc when the surrounding area floods. Find something else There are many good plots of land for sale, that are not prone to floods.

IMO, Thailand will suffer in another way by allowing Chinese Tourists to visit the Country without any Policing at all for Covid.. Many Countries will follow Indias lead, and demand tests for arrivals from Thailand, if the Country allows a free for all on Chinese Tourists, effectively reducing or stopping their Tourists to Thailand.. Covid has cost ( and is still costing ) many Countries a great deal, not just in terms of Money, but also in terms of Human suffering. Countries are going to be very wary and guarded of the approach by China to their sudden reversal of their Covid policy, as there are so many reports coming out of the Country of rampant Covid, and the apparent cover up going on with true numbers and non release of info to WHO Thailand - Be careful what you wish for.

I really could not agree with you more in that Thais need to change. However, it would seem that to want to do so on a voluntary basis is a non starter, so therefore it has to be done with a very big stick. This would of course mean a strict application of control by the RTP, Enough said I think

It doesn't matter whether you have broken a rule or not. If you have upset the management in some way, they will make rules to suit their needs, Remember ! TIT and, yes , they are able to stop a sale of a property legally for such things as not paying Service Charges Etc. Just pay the fine and move on

I dont really think that anybody is surprised by this announcement. The Thais have been desperate for the Hordes from China for so long now, that if they arrived with not just Covid, but Bubonic Plague, e-bola, and Syf, they would be greeted with open arms and allowed into the Country Thailand - Money over all other things including the Health and wellbeing of the Young, Old and Infirmed.

But Thailand ? Nah! Money over everything else including the Health and welfare of the population. Get those Tourists here at any cost.

If they say Goods will increase ( and presumably services as well ) then there is going to be a large increase in the cost of living, and therefore increased Inflation. With Inflation published at roughly 6.5 % ( among the Worlds lowest ) , consumers can expect another 2 % at least to go onto this number, which as most are aware seems to be an artificial low considering the massive price rises in Food and Energy already experienced. This will of course all play into the Countries ability to be competitive, and will many Companies already having to Invest in newer Plant to save Energy, the onus comes down to the Productivity per Head of the Workforce. I am sure Vietnam, Cambodia and even Laos will be able to take up the increases in orders from those canceled in Thailand.
