The ignorant masses. Woke = progressive => Marxist!! Most MAGA supporters could not define what Marxism is; nor could they differentiate between Marxism, communism and socialism. It may come as a shock to the ignorant masses that Marx never considered himself a Marxist. Have any of these MAGA supporters read any books written by Marx or Marx and Engels?

True Move H Outage in Chiang Mai on May 22 2025
JimHuaHin replied to sqwakvfr's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Hua Hin was the same. I ran into a Thai friend yesterday at Market Village - he was withdrawing cash from his bank, complaining that True was down and he could not use his phone to make purchases at shops. And there are those who wish to kill off cash?!?!? Having lived in a cyclone-prone area of Australia for a few decades, I know for first hand experience, when a "big one" hits, and electricity is out for a a few days, or a few weeks in some areas, mobile phones are useless. -

JimHuaHin replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Coups are always on the table in Thailand; it is just a question of who will launch a coup d'etat on whose behalf with the aim of achieving what? Considering the current state of the Thai economy and growing discontent in the middle military ranks, the next coup d'etat ..... -
Trump ambushes South African president at White House meeting
JimHuaHin replied to bannork's topic in Political Soapbox
Maybe Trump wants more time golfing, so he is trying to discourage international leaders from visiting the USA, where he will have to spend time meeting and greeting them. -

Report Police Clamp Down on Prostitution to Protect Pattaya’s Image
JimHuaHin replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Is there prostitution in Pattaya? Does Pattaya have an image? Does this article imply that after a police Walking Street check, which found no prostitution, prostitution has now sprung to life in Pattaya? The fact that this crackdown is happening now, must mean it is low season. -

Impossible, fake news. Anutin is as honest as, as, as, as, at least General Prawit. -
Tourism Island Overload: 10,000 Flock to Koh Samui Every Day
JimHuaHin replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
Koh Samui was rather "pristine" 3.5 decades ago when I first visited - it is very far from pristine today. Another over crowded Thai tourist destination. -
And may I also add, get a second opinion.

Economy Thailand’s Wealth Gap Widens: Most Bank Accounts Below 50,000 Baht
JimHuaHin replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
One is reluctant to use the word "revolution", but Thailand is moving closer to meeting most of the classic conditions fostering a (violent) revolution ("violent" in brackets considering the large proportion of Thais owning weapons and growing number of violent acts we read about daily in the Thai media).
