  1. It's managed by same agency, and the owner of the condo unit was as ignorant as you are. So if your tenant causes trouble and ends up on AGM agenda, you could have some unpleasant time ahead as anything your tenant does is your responsibility, being the co-owner and all that. I'm sure owner in this place isn't pleased being unable to rent it, live in it, or sell it. Imagine that was you.
  2. Fat fingers. AGM. Annual General Meeting. Where all tenants join in person or online for a meeting of co-owners, and committee presents financial and other results, then discusses topics that were submitted by co-owners. We had several specific targets similarly ignorant, followed by cops taking away a couple in weeks that followed. Admittedly, that tenant smashed mirror in front of lift... 3 times... attacked someone in lobby, tried to rob 7-11 on premises and beat up the neighbout who tried to stop him. That unit has been listed for sale since arrest but seems owner can't get clearance letter from juristic office...
  3. One AGM can change all that.
  4. @Celsius You can get blood glucose test at Watson's - AccuCheck with the test sheets, if you check in the morning and it's over 120/6.5 then you should go and visit a clinic for c-peptide and Hb1ac - to see if there is something to worry about or not, where c-peptide would also tell you amount of insulin your body produces, so you could tell, if you are prone, whether yours would be diabetes type 1, type 2 or both. Contrary to public opinion, sugar consumption isn't related with type 1 nor type 2 diabetes. But once you have it, of course, especially with type 1, sugar and carbohydrates, especially simple ones, and starch can cause a major wreck in your system. If you have high blood glucose, you should be feeling very thirsty. Thirsty all the time. That's usually the first symptom of blood glucose being out of control. Are you?
  5. Enjoy. Here AQI just dropped from near 200 at 8 am to about 120 now. Better but not exactly healthy.
  6. Just a thought @Crossy You can contact seller in chat. As he claims the printer was already in transit, ask for the tracking number. And no, printers are not tax-free. Lazada has a high volume of products sent through customs daily and by following tax rules get processed within 1-2 days regardless of what it is, based on documentation alone. System won't cancel the order unless it hasn't been shipped at all by the date it was supposed to be delivered. Working in print manufacturer, I can also tell you that price in China is roughly the same as what it is in Thailand, due to very slim margins on the hardware. It would not be possible to get half a price for a genuine product, unless it was stolen, demo model, stock clearance of old models, or a used item, since majority of A4 models are based on print engine from Canon or Lexmark with set price. Above would hold true for A4 models from Brother, Canon, Fuji, HP, Kyocera, Ricoh and Xerox. I can't comment on Pantum or Lexmark. Samsung is HP for a while already. I'd be quite confident you didn't buy an A3 copier from Toshiba, Sharp or Konica Minolta as shipping costs alone would kill you.
  7. Air India crew would have known how to handle this situation much better than others, though. They deal with it every day.
  8. I was in a similar situation on TG flight from Mumbai years back. That was sorted by asking an Indian girl, willing to help, to inform the back of the plane by intercom that police has been informed, they are not continuing to HK (that's what most planned on that flight arriving early morning) as they will be arrested by police on arrival to Bangkok for violation of air safety laws. There was absolute silence from the back after that to the point when plane landed, I saw nobody from the back came out, from their faces I'd guess afraid of what's waiting outside. Police was at the gate, but I was gone before I could see if they did anything...
  9. Would have actually been nice to open the windows for the cool breeze... but that would have exposed you to an even higher chance of lung cancer...
  10. I received something similar from a local seller - sent me an empty envelope instead of a product. Contacted them and they explained that there was supposed to be a letter inside explaining situation, as product would be delivered a few days later, but someone forgot to put it in. All that said, a couple of days later the ordered product arrived. Strange arrangement, but worked in the end. So it might work for you as well.
  11. In the past it was powered by Yahoo Auctions Japan, but now I see they have several other providers. It's convenient as it does (machine) translation, and charges only a small fee for their services. Also remember I was warned many times when descriptions of products were fishy. Overall, they were very good.
  12. Not looking for anything specific from there right now, but if I need something, I'll have a look again.
  13. I used to order very Japan-specific stuff from https://buyee.jp/ They had quite a good service, so they would buy for you, then inspect, repackage if necessary, and forward to you in any country. This is service in Japan, though, not local, but has an amazing variety of products available. I'm aware you were asking for local stores, just wanted to also give alternative in case it helps anyone.
  14. Sure they will. Someone has to provide money for populist giveaways... (another one, that is):
  15. Actually this was her message back to criticism from the South:
  16. Great you're putting your intelligence on display for all to see.
  17. I'm quite happy with Air Asia Move app, despite being affected by this. The part where it shows all flights, also from other airlines, all in one place and allows you to book them directly from there is very convenient. With this publicity, I guess this glitch would have already been resolved or soon will be, so all good there. No hard feelings.
  18. Thank you for this topic. I used AirAsia Move and it offered me a seat on airline that I knew from that airline was no longer available... well, I was booking for 4 people in 2 separate bookings, first booking went through, but second one - that seats were gone. Air Asia Move wasn't aware, and tried to make a booking anyway. I did put in details for billing but within seconds of that I received an email that "Booking failed. You were not charged". I thought nothing of it and booked another flight, which was successful. But just after reading this, I went to my credit card statement and realised that Air Asia charged me for both flights, and there was no refund of the first flight - basically that "you were not charged" was not a factual statement, so I could say Air Asia robbed me for 7000 baht or so. Hence, thank you for this. Question is - now what. I've already paid the bill. Unsure bank would be interested... EDIT: this is how their email looked like:
  19. Maybe people love to get lung cancer, so they flock to Bangkok to get it quickly...
  20. And his whole family and business partners... Congratulations, Joe. Or maybe at his age he no longer cares.
  21. Aren't those current requirements for an exempt entry?
