  1. I keep the matter that a large percentage of Thais have no wish to have anything to do with a European in my head all the time. Most of the time if they are receiving money from you there is a different attitude sad to say.
  2. Not such a stupid question Scottie If all bottles had a risk of exploding because a person is smoking in a meter or two god help us all
  3. He has an opinion different than yours . Your aggression shows you should look at your self
  4. I was having a beer in a local Thai bar that I had been in many times and a local walked in smoking . I asked if he could see the three no smoking signs behind the bar. He took offense at being told what he should do coming from a foreigner and was ready to pickup a chair and hit me with it. Fortunately he thought better of it. I never saw the barmaid filling up buckets of water either.
  5. Smoking near a food stall on the street is not quite the same as smoking in Mcdonalds when the law is considered . Throwing a bucket of water is i would say a far more serious offence.
  6. I agree , 100 is not going to attract an experienced cleaner Many I have used have little idea how to clean , forget the price
  7. 100 baht an hour would be bare minimum for two times a week in my experience. Five hours to clean gives them 500 baht . Not so jaw dropping for them.
  8. I agree with martinL , good that one of the parents is refusing to accept 200,000 baht for this life changing injuries caused by a man intoxicated and breaking the road laws and don't forget the driver of the car run over him for a second attempt at murder. As for the police not making the charges more serious at the request of the parent can only mean one thing and that's corruption.
  9. I usually i understand well why I have annoyed a fellow driver on the road . That speaks volumes as well from this wonderful specimens denial of any reason the driver should be irritated.
  10. The emergency light is for an emergency only. Written in the road laws.
  11. Yes, who could disagree with you on that . But the question is what caused this driver to become a danger to others and himself. You need to question the ambulance driver further to find the truth.
  12. Of course and rightly so. But with an ambulance driving at normal speed and in no emergency are not meant to have there emergency lights on You see it all the time
  13. I think a child could work out if an ambulance is in a hurry or not since you mention a juvenile. No emergency no lights boy
  14. I buy online to avoid walking around a huge store and be told mi di by some store employee more interested in there phone
  15. It is possible that the market had anticipated a larger reduction in interest rates by the Thai Central Bank. Plus buyers of the Thai baht waited until the announcement was made. It may take some days before we see the baht reduce in value.
  16. I have seen how Government hospitals encourage family participation in the patients care.
  17. I never mentioned anything about what lane the ambulance was driving. I leave the hospital personnel to attend to patients needing health professionals. Following in your car will not be of any benefit to anyone. Thank you for you compliment by the way.
  18. Understand your comment and perhaps the driver is on a promise at home
  19. Well my lord I am far from obtuse I can assure you .
  20. Has to be a reason for his annoyance and now the ambulance driver wants to rest his case on being a life saver
