  1. As an elderly person, I'm very fixed in my ways, the bars and restaurants I frequent all know what I'll order, and if I were to be unable to pay (or more likely forget to pay) they'd just collect it next time I went there. Although normally the problem is the opposite, and my pal and I both try to pay, but they always remind us, "you've already paid".
  2. Thanks, a quick zoom in, and it looks like cherry blossom growing from her nether regions.
  3. As far as I know to bring my foreign spouse to the UK, I will need to prove an annual income of over 29,000GBP or a minimum cash savings of 88,500GBP, sorry the 65k I was quoting was raised last year.
  4. But I can't take my wife with me! Cos I ain't got 65k. And the expat that posted on this forum ended up sleeping rough Cos the don't help white citizens.
  5. I definitely got full NI while at university in the 1970s for both undergrad and post-grad.
  6. There's no law against being unpleasant or angry or outright nasty, is there were half this forums members would be deported. Along with nearly all Thai immigration officers.
  7. I pay for everything with my mobile phone. You gotta move with the times. Ps the Thai girls/guys all have phones with promptpay. At my local coffee shop yesterday tried to pay for my latte with 100bht note, sorry no change, can you scan?
  8. Just imagine how hard it must have been for those first settlers!
  9. So there you have it, as a white British I'm at a disadvantage.
  10. Solar power and batteries, dig a well, bury a septic tank. Homelessness is government policy! Fully independent, Zero carbon footprint, can't get any greener.
  11. I'd pay an extra 5kbht for that, or even 10kbht. Maybe you've got a money making idea for them there.
  12. Yeah, but the garbage was all packed in bin bags, and the place looked clean.
  13. As far as I can see all the UKs problems start with government policy.
  14. I watched the video, one damaged door, one torn window screen. Doubt those repairs would be more than 2,000bht. So not significant.
  15. Yay, one step nearer to a wife that won't nag, and is happy to do the washing, cleaning and cooking!
  16. Don't know about the world, but I definitely would be in the UK. I may be wrong, but do refugees need to have 65,000GBP in savings before they can bring their family in. And didn't we all read the posts by the forum member who had to return and ended up living rough?
  17. But not required for a $10,000 prebuilt modular home.
