  1. My PowMr inverter has been working 3 years now. So far 1 BlueTech solar panel has completely failed, and another is corroded but still works (2 years old) Crossy had an expensive inverter fail with a software update, and 2 GTIs fail. Another poster reported 2 (Deye?) inverters failed in under 2 years. How reliable is the equipment?, who knows, but I can afford to replace my cheap inverter as it was half the price of a Deye. Warranty is a matter of luck in Thailand. AT least with my DIY install if anything goes wrong I can fix it, and I didn't put my panels on the roof as you need to clean them and I ain't going higher than a stepladder. Also, you don't need to fully cover the house requirement 24/7. I put my shower heaters directly on the grid (2x 4Kw), and my air-con. 24/7 coverage adds $$$$s to your install with very little extra savings. My electricity bill is under 300bht/month ....... used to be 1,500bht/month.
  2. They should ban all those excessively small bikinis. It's just not right!

  6. 30+30+30 would be illegal and probably invalidate your original 30 year lease.
  7. Nobody knows what the rules are, or even if they apply to foreigners not working in Thailand.
  8. Like in many countries you have no right to defend yourself, the courts see it as fighting. Best to run away.
  9. Not with water mixed with rat wee.
  10. Zero when it's raining. But the worst I've had in 3 years was 3 days that didn't last through the night. Not really a worry as it grabs from the grid if required. 10 x 580 mono bifacial would be enough for a starter.
  11. Ripoff ........ 10kwhr battery 45kbht (30kbht if you assemble yourself) 580w money bifacial split cells 2kbht each. No specs for the inverter, but a 5.5kw can be had for 12kbht. They usually like 100kbht profit for fitting.
  12. Having enough money to buy anyone's employer, just to sack them, probably helps.

  19. Musk should have offered Tesla, why would Putin fight when there was nothing for him to win?
  20. I went VISA exempt in 2018, 2019 and 2020, that's 7 years back. Was part of a boozie sexpat group that wandered around the tourist hotspots of Asia, got a phone call, "we're in Saigon you don't need a VISA", hopped on a plane 2,500bht return direct from Chiang Mai, had a great time and after that trip did all my Non O bounces and VISAs from there until COVID. Those were the best of times! Morning exercise group, September Park, Saigon, 2018.

  23. I'll translate it for you, SS payments are automated, the only way to stop them would require deliberate intervention from a human.
  24. Alternative title, Lefty attempts sabotage of SS payments as act of treason against pensioners.
  25. Because it's gambling, and I like keeping my money.
