    Slim attractive western women not available for guys my age (69). In fact, they weren't available when I reached age 40. So no choice for me. @JensenZ already posted the same.

    They've not left my kids dumb, Daughter went all the way through university and at age 25 a manager with 8 staff. Son (13) speaks Thai, English and learning Chinese well. Lack of learning due to home environment and parents, not the school IMHO.

    I've never been that keen on hitting children. Shaking is totally unacceptable. But then again, taking them away from their parents to be put in social care where they are abused by everyone isn't really satisfactory either.

    But women here seem to me, much happier than women in the west. The west is different, life is more stressful, but not any easier. My Thai children's government schools were as good as my Brit kids school, a lot less bullying.

    That's just wrong, I've found them as good as any NHS hospital, my local hospital in San Sai is nearly new, all the latest equipment, costs almost nothing for foreigners to use.

    Actually they're everywhere, but usually in the jungle under tarps, or in shanties in the city. All the bench seats round the moat in CM have people sleeping on them every night.

    I've always been treated very fairly by the government hospitals, police and courts. The government schools did a good job with my daughter, and now my son. Banking, mobile and internet services are much better than currently available in the UK. But like nearly all of Asia, it's still the 3rd world.

    I've never found the need for porn in Thailand, available women are everywhere. But books, TV shows, movies and forums are amazing.

    I like the weather (warm) and the empty country roads (cycling). Not to mention the fast internet (entertainment).

    Just cancelled my subscription, I only wanted the UK landline number, which will no longer be available.

    You forgot, Divorce laws stripping assets from the nuclear family, and awarding it to women who only spend.

    Yeast makes the bread rise but needs sugar to feed the yeast. If you add the right amount of sugar you end up with none after the yeast has fed. If you add no sugar the yeast starves and the bread doesn't rise properly.

    1. Run your aircon at full blast between mid-day and end of solar production to cool the house when it's free power. or 2. Add grid-tie inverters to wind the meter back after your batteries are full. I do No. 2, added a couple of new panels and a 1000w grid-tie inverter.

    If short term trading worked we would all be doing it. But sadly, it's just another form of gambling.

    That's as far back as most of us can remember (as working adults in the UK). Back then I could afford a house in the UK but almost no luxury items. Now I can afford many luxury items but not a house in the UK.
