  1. I don't deny anything, but do point out some very questionable facts and photos that NASA produced. And what's even more odd, if I'd typed "fake moon landing shadows" into Google 5 years back, I would have got 50 photos with dodgy shadows going in all directions. Now they've all disappeared.
  2. Start at Dainty coffee, up to wat Doi tairn, then round the front of maejo golf course past Lakeview coffee. Hardly any traffic, loads of cows and buffalo though.
  3. My mil got the 10k, no shops for 15km, a shop van calls around everyday. If it hadn't been cash, she couldn't have used it. Lots of rural poor with no access to shops. As for tobacco, she lives on a tobacco farm, could smoke as much as she wanted at no charge, but doesn't smoke.
  4. Free food is always available from any Temple.
  5. The problem being, UK police are only interested in a conviction, and don't really care if the convicted is guilty or innocent. When you co-operate with the UK police, they are only interested in getting you to incriminate yourself, therefore it's best not to co-operate in the first place. I agree, it's a sad state of affairs that there is no justice in the UK, but better not to convict yourself. My lawyers advice was always not to co-operate, and not to 'chat' with any police conducting any investigation. I left the UK on the advice of my (EU human rights) lawyer, so the police couldn't question me so easily (and frequently), it's gets old very quickly when they decide to collect you from your place of work for questioning, and don't even give you a lift back after (that's if you still have a job). I suspect the same advice was given to the husband in the OP.
  6. DWP doesn't use Royal Mail for posting proof of life forms, as far as I know they use a reposting/forwarding service provided by a European country as it's cheaper.
  7. Visit immigration office with TM30 (from his hotel), passport, and 1,900bht.
  8. Hardly wasting his time ........ If they can afford 20M pounds on lawyers, they can afford 10M pounds for him to go away. That's a nice payday for anyone, and very little effort required.
  9. It's the only bread my rabbits will eat. Tried all sorts of alternatives, but they just refuse it.
  10. Smile, wave, walk on ........ Anger gets you nowhere so best to put it aside.
  11. I've never found any benefit in speaking central Thai. And accept I'm just a long term tourist as there's no route for me to immigrate here. My family all speak English, and I have little desire to interact with other locals beyond simple commerce. Sure, in 7-11, I can tell them I don't want a plastic bag, or want my meal heated, what more language skills would I need?
  12. Equally you could suggest she ran off with another man whom later killed her. Or she was abducted while hitchhiking by a serial killer. Or ran off then went for a walk, fell or got lost then died from exposure. My point being, inaction from the husband is not evidence he murdered her. It's up to the police to provide evidence of what happened. He is under no legal obligation to say anything, or even talk to the police. And if I were him I wouldn't talk to the police at all.
  13. Separate licences, cost between 1kbht and 1k5bht for both. No translations required, just UK licence, passport, medical certificate (any hospital 100-200bht) and proof of address from immigration. No need for an agent, just turn up at any licence centre, and they'll give you an appointment or do it on the spot if not busy. Takes all morning, mostly sitting watching a video.
  14. Most of the western press seem to try and hide the Muslims part in any crimes. It's only weeks later they reluctantly release it was a Muslim immigrant.
  15. Trump doesn't believe, but he always says worshippers are welcome. Unlike your foolish ms. Kamala.
  16. Don't think there are any white INCELs in Thailand. Bashing the Bishop is left to those still in the west!
  17. My pork pie hasn't defrosted yet, so lunch is toasted cheese on farmhouse whole wheat.
  18. Always marmite or toasted cheese.
  19. His VISA has been revoked, and he's awaiting deportation. No arrest by the British authorities. The Thais can do that to anyone of us at any time.
  20. He worked at a Thai university using his own name for 20 years. He had a work VISA, and completed the TM30 same as everyone else. He also renewed his British passport while here (maybe more than once), giving his Thai address. Nobody arrested him as there was/is no evidence he ever committed any crime.
  21. I don't need to study horror/fantasy novels to know it isn't real. Those who believe in ghosts, fairies and other invisible beings are not rational people and should not be allowed public office, or even to speak in public. Let them say and do what they want in the privacy of their own homes, but keep it there.
  22. I used to work with David Icke, he was a great guy and never once mentioned lizard people.
  23. Fairly common for a Thai wife living in the west to run off with another man too! There's no evidence of any wrong doing by anyone at all in this case, even her death was originally classed by the police and coroner as 'not suspicious'.
