UK Pensioners in Thailand Face New Scrutiny Over Pension Fraud

I just tell everyone I don't have a passport. It's not as if it's a requirement to have one inside the UK. -

Should I buy a secondhand Neta V?
BritManToo replied to BritManToo's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Well the other sh car I was looking at was a 1 year old Toyota Revo smartcab 2.4l pickup, and they are selling at under 400kbht, so an even bigger loss than the Neta V. I'm thinking that there is a flood of repossessions, my Mrs. Has a friend that wants to give us hers for just taking over the 60 repayments she has outstanding. -
Reform UK Surpasses Conservative Party Membership in Landmark Shift

What if they only cut the Lords, Dames and Knights on mega wages, leaving the other 98% of civil servants intact? Cutting half the budget doesn't mean cutting half the staff! Just thought, cut all the staff working from home as well, they're completely useless. -
So I'm looking for a cheap but reliable car for my wife to drive around town. Currently our Nissan BigM pickup is 27 years old and getting a bit iffy. Seems I can buy a 1 year old Neta V for around 300kbht. Currently looking at a 8 month old one priced at 280kbht, 20k on the clock, no accidents or flooding, but a cracked windscreen was replaced. Not looking to spend much more than this, and it's 150k cash, plus 30 monthly payments of 5kbht, which suits me. Google doesn't seem to have much about them in English, so I wondered what you guys think?

I prefer KFC Zinger burgers for my superfood.

I predict nothing will happen early next year, apart from more predictions. The Thai government clearly has little interest in advancing the initial announcement by a government nobody, all subsequent discussions were fueled by speculation from foreigner owned (probably illegal but definitely shady) financial companies trying to extract money from the 'at risk' elderly foreign retirees.

I'm OK with gov min insurance, driver details not required, anyone can drive the car. Why do you need 1st class?

I'm OK with 70 (nearly 69 now), don't really want to live in the 'falling apart' time. Nothing more I really want to do, nothing more I really want. Happy enough as I am currently.

Is It Better to Date a “6” Than a “10” in Thailand?

WHO has always been a political leftie organization, best not to finance your enemies. I'd suggest they leave NATO and the UN as well, as they're all a waste of money. ........ and forget Climate Change .........

I'd rather DIY than start hiring anyone below an 8. Married an 8-9 who kept her looks for 10 years, now at 15 years on she's down to a 5 but I still love her. I was a 5 when we met and am still a 5 ......... -
I only consider people with a Chinese passport to be Chinese.

I always click on the 'send to bank account' button to get money out of my Lazada wallet, about 30s for it to appear in my bank. I don't really understand why other people seem to have a problem.
