    If you exercise enough, you can eat whatever you like with no apparent downside. My 25km/day cycle rides (with PA) seem to make it impossible for me to gain any weight. When I was a little younger (62) and trail running most days, I needed a Big Mac every day and was still losing weight, had to force myself to eat when I wasn't hungry.

    Don't think I've ever paid more than 1kbht/night in Asia (normally less), the rooms all had air-con, en-suite shower, sometimes a swimming pool, and sometimes breakfast.

    Just buy one here then no problems. Got mine from Bangkok ebikes for 34kbht, they'll built whatever you want. What's special about yours, thought the UK was limited to 250w!

    They only lost until the UK joined the EU (a united Europe under German rule). Better late than never I suppose.

    NZ Pension for expats = -1/40th for every year you lived outside NZ. If you lived outside NZ a long time you'll get almost nothing.

    How would they identify YOUR bank accounts in a foreign country? Bob Smith in Thailand could be any of 10,000 Bob Smith in the UK. As we have no ID cards in the UK.

    Alternatively he could sell his house then move to Thailand with all his money after July and pay no Thai tax as he wasn't resident that year. Tax is only a risk for guys already living in Thailand .hand to mouth, and even then only a small risk as I don't believe it will ever happen.

    Seems the whole world is flooding at the moment. Spain, India, China, Saudi, Vietnam, Philippines, USA, Switzerland ........ my Facebook page is full of reels of extreme flooding. Chiang Mai will be next, the river is already over the banks near the Iron Bridge and Wat Fa Ham. Just this moment stopped raining for the first time in 36hrs.
