  1. You're right! But it just popped up on eztv, bit lightweight, nice Florida scenery, plenty of hot chicks in bikinis.
  2. Slow Horses s04e04 out now Bad Monkey s01e08 out now The Finder complete season 1 out now Apparently the plot is ........ an injured war vet comes home with the ability to find things, looks promising.
  3. I have loads of Tuya WiFi switches, zero problems after 2-3 years. Your post seems expensive though, 250bht Inc on Lazada (triple light switch). https://s.lazada.co.th/s.qHeUe
  4. You'd need to contact admin to get that question answered.
  5. There are no legal restrictions on owning or transporting cannabis within Thailand. Your conclusions after a 'quick' look are entirely wrong. Best not to post about something you don't understand.
  6. Why would Thai customs do anything, cannabis is legal here.
  7. Quick calculation, cannabis in Thailand sells for max 15kbht/kg, so 100kg in Thailand (cost £32k) becomes £1M in the UK. X30 markup!
  8. If I don't wake up at dawn to let my rabbits out into the garden they get really angry. So it's up at first light, rabbits given treats and released, then out for a 25km cycle ride (if it's dry).
  9. I agree with most of the Labour ideas. Buy to let is an abomination that makes purchasing out of reach for normal people. Single people living in large houses should pay full council tax, their selfishness restricts people from finding housing. Holiday homes, pushes local housing prices beyond the reach of local people. One person one home maximum. And why should business owners escape paying the same NI as employees?
  10. No need to fix any corruption, he just wants to plug the leaks.
  11. Your wife loves you for yourself ....... the fact you also have loads of money is irrelevant!
  12. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/turbox100-dtac-100mbps-i5122125987-s22508495947.html DTaC Turbox100 ........ 100Mbps, 60gb/month, 1,600bht
  13. Nope, easiest thing in the world ....... Plug kindle into pc usb port. Open calibre, right click mouse on the book you want to transfer, choose "save to main memory" Calibre will then convert to AZW format and load on kindle. I'm currently reading SF the Archimedes Engine by Peter F Hamilton, and the mystery series Alex McKnight omnibus by Steve Hamilton. Always use my Kindle as it's easy on my old eyes.
  14. Me too, when it was 45-47 I built up a 6 month reserve.
  15. In Siem Reap or Bangkok?
  16. Next thing you know, visiting Pattaya will be a sacking offense. Even if you only came to see the beaches and temples!
  17. Not really, I just don't find the locals interesting. But as you say, no worries, not long now ...............
  18. The AIS net marathon 1 year SIMs tend to self renew if you have enough credit in your account. 1,600bht (ish), taken the day your last year expires. Strangely enough I have the same deal, from AIS, also started in October 2022. Think I'll dump AIS this October as the data has become very iffy for phone banking. DTaC Turbo100 next time.
  19. Of topic, We both chose Chiang Mai to live out of all the places on the earth, so can we really be that different?
  20. If the first trivial case was before vaccination, and the second serious case was after vaccination, I'd be tempted to come to a different conclusion.
  21. Sorry we're dragging off topic, I'm retired no bosses, my internet is blazingly fast, and the rest doesn't bother me. If she cheats, you can cheat too.
  22. I thought that too, foreign guys, Thai bar girls. They could title the movie 'f#£& f#£& in tuk tuk'
  23. Incorrect, ........ a woman marries a man for what (she thinks) he can give her. As for the locals, never had any urge to mix with any outside my bedroom. I only mix with fellow Brits from the South of England
