  1. Hilger and Watts more likely WW2. There is no way it can set a level at 3km even in perfect adjustment. Have probably used one in my time but luckily they later made them with an upright image (but you can get used to the inverted one).
  2. Not really related but today went into a parking lot at the local police/ administrative buildings. Could not believe that someone had parked their Fortuner between rows of parked cars blocking access. Had to do a mea culpa when we looked at the front of the vehicle that was smashed in. The police had obviously left it there.
  3. They did not specify what titles this section applied to. Thailand does have an "adverse possession" law even for chanote but i doubt that this applies to the government. They are probably talking about the lesser titles where the government applied conditions on use. Maybe the writer of the article does not understand land titles.
  4. Have seen them down to B55000 at various times at other places. Have been looking at them for a couple of years and would be great in dry season. It is so wet up here at the moment that the 40kg push mower sinks into the ground, let alone one of those at 200kg+, + rider.
  5. If you want to spend 30k you could also look at a Husqvana. I have a Polo bought from KTW for under 10k to do 3 rai. Some of the fittings are a bit rough but you are only cutting grass. The only problem is that is a bit hard to start, so no good if your wife is doing the mowing.
  6. OP, I use a Citi, now NAB, card from Australia and the exchange rate for AliExpress purchases is reasonably close to to the bid rate on XE. As said above it should only be 2-3% from the mid market rate. But that could vary depending on your bank.
  7. All of the above posts in support of the fisherman? Try doing these things in Australia. You will be fined for being in a boat without a fishing license. Don't dare take a piece of washed up seaweed off the beach to use as garden fertilizer or you will be fined as well.
