  1. Hi, what do you mean by 'all my torrents automated'. Thanks
  2. I can only find 2 larger boxes, no small red ones left. As I said I put power points everywhere. One pic. of one in the store room I offset too much and didn't have time to correct before the plaster came. Also a few walls cracked as blocks not properly layed. I specially went to a QCon place and arranged to hire their team, but as it was QCon block early days the QCon forman for my area was moonlighting and getting anyone to lay blocks. Eventually got rid of them but damage done. Pics of power points and switches everywhere. Better to have too many than not enough.
  3. Global House (GH) wasn't around my area when I wired up my shed. I think Global House boxes should be OK. I tend to look for the most expensive brand in GH. Most expensive is not always equal to best quality.
  4. Been watching this thread (not all) and just from my experience initially helping the electrician with some house building wiring and then myself wiring a 3 room garage, I used the plastic boxes. That's what the house wiring electrician used. I think which ever boxes you get used to are the ones you use. Important to have good quality boxes so they don't distort too much and screw threads that are solid in construction. By the time you grind out the blockwork spaces for the conduit and boxes and position them to allow for the plaster, then insert the conduit into the boxes and terminate the cables you need a good quality lot of boxes. So it's good quality plastic boxes for me and I've got power points everywhere.
  5. Went to the local hospital yesterday. Hospital full at 0730. Pretty sure this waiting patient doesn't understand English either. ????
  6. Sorry sorry, read your post wrong. You only want the tablets or powder.
  7. If you have a closer look at my chlorinator pic. you will see it has a Low Level Chlorine light. When I'm away my wife uses the flashing light warning to add Ch. I also test the water weekly, but we are talking about Ch here.
  8. I did send you a pic of the chlorinator I use. Anyway, Bagwain with have your answers.
  9. Hi, I've got about 90000 odd L pool. Nearly 6 years old and never had trouble with my saltwater chlorinator. Just thrown in a bag of salt now and again.
  10. Well everything works like it should. Tank fills up, tap outputs water as well. Pump pressure builds up to 24 psi. Some idiot installed the RCBO the wrong way. They don't like testing that way. Probably wear my glasses next time and not do that again. Thanks all for help. ????
  11. Seem not to be getting notifications. I think you ate in the back row. Looks like there were a couple of ladies in the class. Progressive.
  12. Great job ???? Bet your place looks brilliant when a the lights are on. Unfortunately the garden is in and I really wanted them to shine up under the cane palms outside the pool fence. Thanks.
  13. Great. Thanks for the bicycle forum pointer. ????
  14. That's great to get that jib done. When you say he sawed the tap out, do you mean with an angle grinder?
  15. Good step in the right direction. Better get your car registration address updated or you're up for a few fines. 'Ohhh but I never received the fine notice'. "Is this your address?" 'No' "Bad luck, pay the fine."
  16. I'm similar vintage. Did you ever work out how to successfully get a condom on? I couldn't. ???? Mabe the new Woke ones assemble themselves on the shaft? ????
  17. Thanks very much Sheryl. How's the house insulation holding up in this weather. Nice and cool?
  18. Yes using the same value. So now I re-learnt induction motors a bit more twas easy. Also the Intelligent control box wiring diagram is wrong. (I think you may have guessed that Crossy). The link shown is missing the capacitor symbol. Now that works as well. Just gotta hook up the tank float control and pressure sence control and put in auto. Just to show you I used to know something about motors, here is a pic of one of our (everybody) first year Engineering projects, about 60 years ago. ???? Where's your?
  19. Found the problem. The wiring of the Frog control box wasn't as per the circuit. One side of the on/off switch neutral wire was missing. No neutral. All I can think is the bore guy took the wire out and wired the pump straight into the main incoming neutral and not thru the switch. Now if I'd only taken a pic before I started. Usually do. ???? Now back to getting the new pump controller going.
  20. It's the yellow conduit on the left. The pump cable tied to 2 NYY cables inside flexible conduit go to the big hole in the middle. The 2 NYY cables are from the pressure switch and water tap. The conduit on the right is from the contacts from the float in the water tank out the back. So the thought was the pump would stop and start from the pressure switch or tank float switch. Seemed simple at the time. ????
  21. The pump wiring went from the pump thru the fence to my Intelligent pump box. The pump wires ar attached under the water pipe as in pic. I cut the wire and installed the origional FROG controller at the top of the bore, as in pic.
  22. Thanks. When it stops raining I'll go out and have another look. ????
