  1. Thanks Charlie. It's both arms/shoulders that's the problem. I had no previous problems with my shoulders until as I said about 6 weeks after my right hip replacement. I am considering an xray as a first step but am unsure if it will show what is the problem. MRI would obviously be the ultimate test but for shoulder's and neck both sides it will be expensive.
  2. I had a hip replacement in the UK last August which went very well and I was soon back in the gym My problem is that about 6 weeks after my op I started to get severe shoulder and arm pain, which also radiates down to my left thumb. I also have a slight swelling in the neck above the left collar bone. I don't know if this is due to the use of crutches etc. Now 6 months later this is no better. I have been going to a Chriopractor for 5 sessions, he says I have pinched/trapped nerves. But after 5 weeks it is no better. Any ideas advice for diagnosis and treatment @SherylThanks. I am based in Pattaya.
  3. At Jomtien you only need a new TM30 if returning to the same residence, only if you get a new passport. I found this recently when I needed a residence certificate for my driving licence.
  4. Yes it's that horrible Las Vagas complex, can't stand the place.
  5. Book into a decent place for s few days. Have a look around, decided where you want to stay. Then book long term. Pointless booking a long stay in advance.
  6. Probably not going to be a follow up. But I the shop confirmed that the necklace was not bought from them as it didn't have their stamp in the gold. Further investigation revealed that the son had a copy made and swapped it out. Cashing in the original gold to feed his drink/drug habit.
  7. Nonsense. Money laundering is a serious crime. There are many many fake businesses over here and some legitimate ones that purely operate as a means to launder money. The authorities need to be applauded for trying to do something about it. Your throw away comment does nothing other than making you look stupid.
  8. Plenty of warning signs in your post. 1. You have not been to Thailand in 2 years and yet you are getting married soon. Assume you have not seen girlfriend for the same period. Recipe for disaster. 2. You have sold your UK house which means nothing to fall back on if things go wrong. Whose idea was it to sell? Recipe for disaster. 3. You are moving to the middle of nowhere. Where will you live? Recipe for disaster.
  9. Yes thanks I have seen those. Do you know what I have to upload to register as a Foreigner?
  10. Just visited Jomtien immigration for a Residence Certificate for driving licence. I was informed at the Residence desk that I havnt updated my TM30 since I changed my passport 2 years ago, even though I have renewed my extension of stay and done online 90 reports over the 2 year period. I assume this is correct. The queue for the TM30 was massive as immigration closed tomorrow for Big Buddha day. I thought I would do online. At first glance this looks complicated, any views/advice?
  11. You probably were upgraded free of charge. I am with 3bb and they upgraded me a few years ago. Most connections are fibre now
  12. You don't even have to look for it it's not hidden, it's in the main area in full view.
  13. I have a duel draw air fryer, perfect. The picture of burnt chips is laughable.
  14. I paid 20k to get out of a drink drive matter a few years ago at soi 9. They even have a special Negotiation Room". Was released given my car keys back and met the officer in Jomtien the next day to give the 20k. He held onto some id/license as security. These incidents are the norm over here.
  15. The best beer in Thailand by a country mile is the Thai version of a German beer Federbrau. It's 4.8% not overly strong but a clean crisp taste. It's 755 baht for a 12 box in Lotus's. Downside is very few bars in Pattaya sell it. I did enjoy a couple of pints of draft at the airport last April.
  16. What's this? As far as I know, a blue book is for Thai citizens only. How can this be a condition on extending.
  17. How about a man of 55 meeting a gogo girl of 19 years old and have been together 14 years, 11 of them married. Ordinary guy just pensions as income.
  18. Deodorant just covers up the sweat smell. Anti perspirant like Sure or Right Guard is what most people use. The problem with a lot of people is that they may shower but don't change their shirt or wash it properly. It's old sweat that skinks not fresh perspiration.
  19. I have an "age appropriate woman". I am 69 this year. We have been together 14 years, married for 11 years. Yes at 33 years old an ex gogo girl, but who cares.
  20. I do my own 90 day reports online, but they will do the report for you at an extra cost
  21. To the OP 1. Your existing Bangkok Bank account is fine. 2. No address proof needed 3. 100 days before due date, no loss on time 4. Based on Cambodia Travel soi Bukaou. Maneerat slightly cheaper, but they use the Bangkok Bank in Central. Cambodia Travel the one on Pattaya Klang, for less busy.
  22. Similar time frame for me. See what happens this year at end of February.
  23. Lots of apps that track someone's phone as long as people accept the invite you can set up a group with as many people as you wish.
  24. I have been using the online 90 day reporting for a number of years. My TM30 is also 5 years old. I go to the UK once a year for 4 months and always return to the same address. Every time after my return to Thailand for my first report online it Has been accepted, despite numerous posts saying the first report after leaving Thailand and returning has to be done in person. This time I returned end of November. My first report is due around end of February, let's see what happens. My office is Jomtien (Pattaya). Never had any online reports rejected.
