Many vehicles are quite invisible on the road and as such become lethal weapons for pedestrians
and other road users.
Perhaps that's why they drive around with no mufflers or in some cases noise enhancing mufflers
the logic maybe being they can hear me coming so better just get the hell out of the way !!!

Media frenzy at first then quickly the politicians saw it as way to explain away problems and/or bring in certain measures like a "cashless" society, tracking apps, state of emergency with unlimited powers and budget.

They seem not to like trees that give shade...notice how a lot of deck chair vendors are located under the remaining big shade trees.
I suspect a deliberate plan to "lure" tourists into deck chairs instead of sitting under the trees.

incidents like this seriously, they should have been given the

Not only that they should have been fined heavily ( not 1000 baht)
and lost their licence to carry public passengers.

And what happens to any of these predictions if there's another out break next year or the year after etc
Hopefully everyone comes to their senses stops panicking and gets on with living life. Like we have lived and continue to live with millions of other viruses, pathogens, germs, disease, starvation and war.

If you're happy to see China walk over the entire South East then I suggest you just shut up and watch it happen and remember your cynical / inactive contribution to that
Thailand's men in green are buying Chinese submarines they are helping the walk over.

Some people think its cool, instead its a reflection of the view the cars owners have on society,
I put some on scratches and dents just to cover them up not consciously knowing I was commenting on a violent society or seeking attention ????

Apparently Thailand had 4 submarines bought from Japan in 1937 for 800,000 baht each they lasted 14 years before parts became unavailable.
I think I read somewhere that the navy have kept a "practising" submarine division ever since !!!

I first went in 2006 they would not let me on ( said no cameras but we arrived on motorbikes so no where to hide the camera)
luckily there was another ship docked there MV Doulos no problems with cameras.
QuoteMV Doulos Phos is a retired cruise ship that held the record of being the world's oldest active ocean-faring passenger ship, serving from 1914 until December 2009
so we looked at that instead.
a couple of year later we went back without camera this time only to be "shood" away again this time not being a Thai citizen, my wife, family and friend went on board I sat outside with nary a beer to quench the thirst. ????
