Yes I got caught out very badly once by not surveying the area at night time I'm talking 2-4 AM where directly across the narrow soi was an Ice crushing "factory" during the day it was a nice quite (ish) soi but in the dead of night they turned up with huge blocks of ice on a six wheeler truck and very loudly offloaded them after which the crushing started an horrendous cacophony all soundproofing attempts where futile..and no I did not get used to it and earplugs are horrid when you hear the thumping of your heart instead..be very careful choosing a location... rent it first just in case is a wise move !!!

I've not had a problem just turning up "early" at the station and buying a ticket at the counter 143 baht each way. I drove my car and parked directly opposite the bus station on the road and it was still there when we got back. On the way back from the Swampypoom we ( wife and I) did have to wait an hour as we just missed the previous bus so we went to the food court in which they can sell beer at all times even during the Ork Pansa and other religious holidays..the trip "home" as always seemed much quicker than the trip out. from Pattaya they don't care about seat numbers ( see the scrubbed out number wasn't me) just sit wherever you want first come first served...on the way back they did issue seat numbers so we sat in those seats.

I just tried pausing the cam at the 7/11 bali-hai pier https://ioc.pattaya.go.th/live-cctv/SC-086 for about 10 minutes and it did resume playing but not from where it was paused it picked up the live stream after a bit of buffering.. this is not what happened on the other cam I paused for a while so maybe depends on the camera/cam how long you can pause it for. Whilst on the subject the 3 cameras at Irovers bar have been working quite well...but sods law are down again today.

There are a couple more along beach road not working Pattaya glang intersection and Royal garden. The soi 5 and 6 cams on second road are working and the few I checked on walking street and soi buakhow, they probably go down to power glitches/outages need rebooting or vandalism etc. If you pause it for more than a few minutes it wont continue gives an error message.

The bus drivers (normally) actually know where they are going, hardly ever brake down or run out of fuel halfway along the way and tend not to drive like kamikaze pilots ,not the white mini bus drivers they are the worst kamikaze's talking here about the bigger busses like those from Roong Reung Coach Co .,Ltd in Jomtien 143 baht to the Swammpypoom unbeatable value https://airportpattayabus.com/# With Taxi they will often try to get you to pay the tolls even though you thought they were included in the price already...sometimes its hard to fit all luggage in the boot due to it being half full with a gas canister Skytain and underground are also good value though having 3 different companies operating various lines is a bit confusing with signage, ticketing and having to use the "skywalker" to connect them..not ideal but still not too bad.

Doom I think is my all time favourite retro game... well 2 point firstly this is Thailand and they often seem to think that water runs uphill ( ie not built correctly) and second if the ground that the tank overflows to is already flooded ( due to lots of heavy rain) then where is the water going to ?

You really have no idea who is shelling nuclear power plants ,blowing up dams to try cutting off cooling water and cause a meltdown or who blew up the pipe lines supplying vital energy to a supposed European ally. As an aside you also know that the US does not abide by ICC rules and even has statutes in place that allow for the military extraction of any US citizen from the Hague who might be brought there on charges !!!

How about nuclear power plants is it ok to shell them ? or perhaps gas pipelines they are fair game right ?
